I am glad to see this change. Regi likes to go HAM on people so giving him less farm and playing tanky characters will be interesting. I think it will take a few weeks to get it sorted, but I believe TSM will look better with Dyrus getting more farm priority. | ||

It isn't just the lane they are in, it is everything the role carries with it, I think. It means that Dyrus will be getting more farm and will almost always be playing carry champs, more Jayce and less Shen, and Regi will be playing the tanky champs that dive in and cause disruptions. Also, I wonder how good Dyrus is at TF *hue* Edit: That Udyr skin looks great. I would consider getting it if I played him at all. lol | ||

In terms of farm priority it used to be: WT/Regi Dyrus TheOddOne Xpecial Now it will be: WT/Dyrus Regi TheOddOne Xpecial TSM said their "Top" and "Mid" are switching (which is nothing nowadays, I agree with you there) but I think it is a change in terms of the farming priority and champion pools of Regi and Dyrus. I think this is an important announcement to make, but Xpecial kinda blew it out of proportion. Overall I think this is a really good change because Dyrus likes to carry and Regi likes to initiate. | ||

I'm sure there will be more and more. It's a stupid thing to call this a roster change. I assume it was just a way to rile people up, and they achieved it. By now, people should be moving on to using terms such as solo laners rather than trying to define a role so strictly by their lane. It's a simple naming convention that doesn't make sense anymore. It probably never should have been used in the first place. You'll see this especially during lane swaps, and casters not knowing what to call it due to these bad naming conventions. Casters made a bad decision early on in the game, and now are having trouble with it. As a whole, it's solo laner/duo laners that make more sense. | ||

I sincerely do not believe their farm priority will change. Observe these teams more. Most of the NA teams do not recognize such a concept as farm priority. You'll have NA ADCs taking farm while maxed on items. It's sincerely mind boggling that any team would do that, but then you watch even the top NA teams do this multiple times. They do not yet know how to pay attention to this. It partly comes from these players still learning the game, and partly because a lot of these players just do not know about the concept. It doesn't help that LoL is somewhat built to take this into account, and so people don't learn to pay enough attention to it while starting out. The gold distribution for teams is seriously messed up. It's why you can have the NA junglers sitting at 50-90 CS while their ADC is at 250+. It's also a decent part of why these teams will end up losing their games. | ||
