And looks like TSM's announcement is Regi/Dyrus switching lanes. Seems simple enough, not sure why they had to ask Riot, idk.

A minor change, but a head scratching one. I mean, with how often solo lanes swap around I'm not sure they even needed to make a formal announcement like this. Although does this mean Dyrus is gonna rework his entire champion pool? I mean there is a lot of overlap, but when they wanna play Karthus or Ori do they just send Regi mid? I am perplexed. If anything this news just confirms what we've known for a long time, that the term Mid and Top are antiquated.

I feel like this means that Regi is gonna play supporty initiators like Malph and let Dyrus play carries more often. I get why they're doing it, Dyrus' mechanical skill seems better these days and this way Regi can concentrate more on shot calling. He can play Karthus anyway on a lane swap if he really wants to, too.

Dyrus' champ pool is fine mid anyway, so I'm intrigued. I think this is a positive.

On a serious note, this "announcement" could mean that Dyrus gets bumped up in farm priority over Reginald since it's safer to farm mid. We could see Regi play more support and Dyrus more carry. But if this is the case, I would have kept it secret to surprise people at MLG.
