Chauster might have the biggest ego in e-sports, its amazing. Dude you played IN KOREA, its not just that their teamwork is better its the fact that these players (Shy, Madlife, Maknoon, Imp, Rapidstar etc) are REALLY EFFING GOOD. My god that tilts me. I think what he means is that the huge difference in skill (teamskill) and results isn't due to how good the Koreans are individually, but how good their teamwork is. I think he's just empathasizing that their teamwork is on another level

No mention of Loco whatsoever made me sad. I enjoyed getting a more in depth look at the CLG train wreck. After something gets hyped for as long as it did, I'm expecting more than what was given. Be back in a bit, going to start a kickstarter to get funded to make super gosu esport documentary.

Chauster has been a mediocre player and shotcaller for the entirety of season 3, yet in all of the shuffling that CLG has done the past few years Chauster has remained as the centerpiece of the team and nothing is changing. Now he is surrounded by (arguably) the most talented CLG roster to date, but he's not going to play the role of being gracefully carried by Nien, Link, and Doublelift, his ego won't allow it. Chauster is going to keep dictating how CLG should play the game instead of letting his more talented team mates take the reins, and CLG is going to continue to be mediocre.

Honestly, I think that the notion that old people can't improve their mechanics or old people mechanics are just worse is a huge myth. I can't prove this, of course, but the mechanics required to play League are very minimal compared to starcraft, I can't imagine an aspect that requires something an 17 year old body has that a 23 year old doesn't. Most dota pros are 21-24 and dota is arguably mechanically more intensive. I think what's holding Chauster and Saint back is that they have no idea how to improve their mechanics, or other such similar mental block

It's like people forgot they stuck Chauster in his worst position, and expected him to flourish. Chauster in jungle was merely a band-aid to HotshotGG in jungle.

I don't understand this post at all, some of the most talented shotcallers internationally do so from the 5 position.

Watching him sit in a bush for over a minute and then just leave was painful. Meanwhile the enemy Jungler has gotten a 20 CS lead.

Yeah, it was pretty fucking painful to watch, it was like watching season 2 nintendude camping top lane; except less successful. But, he was still better than HSGG in jungle though. Oh shit, own3d owed DL 20k O.o wtf.....

Then he went 0-8 on udyr and said how much he was doing for his team....while running around the jungle dying all game lol. It's okay though, he was "applying pressure" by feeding the enemy team kills and giving them baron, dragon, and towers since it was essentially a 4v5 always.

Now they are all on the korean is the best bandwagon. Then again, they did the same thing about starcraft 2 just about how it wasn't as mechanically demanding. Good ol history repeating itself.
