Honestly can't make a firm verdict without seeing it, but from what I've been reading in other sites a lot of people seem to speculate that it'll just be a better version of primal udyr (change into animals). It's a cool idea, but feels underwhelming for an ultimate skin considering we already have primal udyr.

I can see a Legendary Udyr skin being over-the-top badass. It could also just be Primal+, which would be sad, but I have confidence in Riot's artists. As far as overall trends go, I'm fine with them beating the "Justicar/Arclight/Celestine" idea to DEATH because (with the exception of the rather mediocre looking Justicar Aatrox) they are all FUCKING FANTASTIC. wtb Justicar Diana pls (or Irelia... FUCK THAT'D BE COOL)

I guess people dont want to see only koreans battling it out, but it brings overall a better level across all regions. If you lock the tournaments, then we could end with regions that are terrible and then get stomped at worlds giving us an awful tournament overall. Much rather see the best of the best wherever they are from.

But yeah I love the theme as well The "mediocre" comment is almost entirely based on the splash art, which I know is silly, but the Syndra and Varus skins literally made me buy the champs to get the skins. I have high standards for that skin theme. + Show Spoiler + The Soraka one is great and all but I fucking hate Soraka with a burning passion.

I am not quite sure how the lock works.

Much rather see the best of the best wherever they are from. I understand how it might do that, but I think that the Koreans were already dominating so hard that the non region lock was bad. Last year there were a lot more foreigners doing well with the WCS, better storylines, and more upsets/breakthroughs. Look at how much NA teams have improved since the LCS inception. I think the region lock allows players to form the necessary infrastructure to develop talent and get better. The WCS now allows Koreans to practice on the KR server and then dominate the WCS even with latency. I get why they thought it might be a good idea because NA would have more talent to practice against, but it backfired. Granted it is only Season 1 so we will see! I hope it works out for them.

Assuming Koreans > everyone else, which is a pretty fair assumption given the All-Stars results but I'm waiting till the end of Worlds before I stop cheering for CN/SEA to put up a good fight. Lots of hype following our NA/EU heroes, only to later watch them get smashed early on unless they end up getting paired with each other, leading to a so-so finals. ![]()
