Furor boots gives her 490-500ms while kiting, depending on if you're running MS quints while her Q alone gives her 468-480 ms. Around a 20ms difference at a point where she doesn't really need the movement bonus. Green boots would give you 480-490ms with Q up.
So in conclusion, get green boots or white boots on cass, red does very little for her.

It realistically only affects rylais since her E apparently spellvamps at full efficiency according to the LoL wiki and liandry's was changed a while back to be full effect regardless of source. Fortunately though, due to how MS works, that's the strongest thing they could've changed. If you can E a 450ms character, they're dropped to ~290ms rather than ~380 making your spells stupidly easy to hit.

iirc spellvamp is already at full strength on her E, and I mentioned the "opening itemisation" part from Xypherous' post. It'll be an extremely strong 35%+ permaslow (if used along with W), but it's not "opening" itemisation since she already has rylai's as a core item, is what I meant.

Ooooooh I like those Akali buffs..

Nerfing Caitlyn is stupid. Nobody on the planet thinks she's overpowered, she's just very safe and very popular. I don't expect anyone to play Cait if she gets nerfed. There's little reason to. I'm extremely sad about Zed nerfs as well. He's pretty much a one trick pony, almost worthless without his ultimate. If teams find a way to stop him before he does his magic, he's useless. He dominates uncoordinated teams, of course, but you shouldn't balance the game around them

They've been nerfing the exact same way for the history of the game.

Looking forward to renekton and rumble nerfs, at last riot has opened their eyes.

Yeah if only every LCS team wasn't so uncoordinated then zed wouldn't need to be nerfed

Wow, Rylai's single target for Cass's E? Yes please.
As long no one else plays Cass. >_>

I'm a little confused about their approach to Mana Manipulator and wanting it to be a starting item.
A level 1 aura item is only useful in the duo lane for obvious reasons. But neither of the two heroes in the duo lane can actually afford to start mana manipulator--it doesn't become anything useful for the AD, and starting with a 300 gold item on the support is not practical given the demand on them to start with wards.

meh faerie charm + 3 wards + 3 pots vs mana manip + 2 wards + 2 pots
seems reasonable at least against some junglers and bot lane combos
|
^I agree. They should just scrap it tbh, now that it no longer builds into crucible it's literally just for 1 lacklustre item in the midgame (shard of true ice).

Zed is absolutely worthless without his 100 second ultimate, and if he fails to 100 0 an important target, he's basically done for the fight. You can't nerf a champion like that and expect him to be played, just look at Talon. Never played in season 2, dominates soloq for 2 weeks at the start of season 3, Riot nerfs him again. Never seen in season 3 either. Zed is much more fun to play, so he will see some play (just like Ezreal) but (provided nothing else changes to him) he will die in from the competitive scene soon (like 6 months). Being bitter about Riot's bad balance is being stupid, as well, of course. I'm not really that invested into Zed anyway. But that doesn't mean that I won't be sad to see him go.

I'd rather have Zed not being played competitively than another 6 months of him being ridiculously broken. Same with Thresh and a few others TBH.
If you make a champion that scales too well with skill it's always going to be broken until he gets to a spot where only the few REALLY good players can play him. Look at Lee Sin. That's where Zed and Thresh are going to end up eventually.

Riots balancing policy sucks, seems like morello is even dumber than during his guild wars times

That's where Zed and Thresh are going to end up eventually. In a perfect scenario, every champion would scale well with skill and we would have a fun game. If they nerf him to Lee's (or Ezreal's) level, though, I'm going to be pretty content. Lee is in a good spot right now. (I prefer lane Lee anyway)

pretty sad riot nerfs to the ground champions who actually have high skill cap to become effective as other faceroll champions only when played near perfect (compare lee to a fucking xin, nasus, voli which u can play with ur feet and do well)

Riot announced (but I don't have a link sorry) that they're only going to be releasing one champion a month at max for the foreseeable future. So if you play enough to grind up 6300 IP a week you'll catch up eventually. Lol more like 6300 every other month. Even less, since older champions IP costs get lowered over time. He meant that's his pace of acquiring IP, which will leave him never coming anywhere close to catching up to the full roster(in fact it might actually mean he falls further behind, could easily math it out since the IP reductions are set in stone at this point correct?). I used to be right on pace, 6300 every 2-3 weeks depending but now yeah I'm gonna fall wayyy behind. All I can usually afford is win of the day so that's like 200 IP/day to get 10 more champs, one of which is 4800 currently. I have about 3k IP currently. GO GO MATH GENIUSES YOU HAVE ALL THE INFO You should start playing on LoL GarenaVN. We can buy Champion first and pay later (with interest of course). How does that work? I miss the viets on SG, skill level went down. I want to ask the same question. How does buy first pay later work? @cascades: I assume that you are being sarcastic right? I heard that Vietnamese players on SEA server are very toxic and love to troll.

That's where Zed and Thresh are going to end up eventually. Actually, if they nerf Zed too much, noone will play him again. He is not Lee Sin where you can make alot of plays with his kits no matter how much you nerf him. Zed actually has a very straight forward way to play, if he was nerfed to a level he can no longer be a formidable thread to the other team, noone would play him anymore.
What I think is, Riot is too quick to nerf him, after all, he really shines in the EU LCS and that's about it. Maybe they should left him alone and let teams around the world to figure him out. NA teams havent touched him yet.

With a biscuit on sona, biscuit + mana manip + 3 wards might be doable, it wouldn't be particularly safe but it'd definitely be possible. Taric might also be alright with it. Starting 2 wards bottom lane is possible, I do it all the time with flask + 2 wards for fun but it's also rather dangerous if you can't make something happen with the extra mana.
On another note though, Nami's starting to creep into the viable area. Her E, especially combo'd with ezreal/MF deals a pretty massive amount of damage early on and the CC from her Q/R, IF hit are pretty ridiculously strong. She probably needs a QoL change so her E is more noticeable on the AD but it's in a pretty good state right now.
