More importantly, there's new summoner icons for this freljord event. Win 10 games (only matchmade games against human opponents count) before the event ends (May 14) to upgrade your new icon (unsure what the upgraded icons add?) as well as keep it after the event . However, you can only belong to one Freljord tribe! If you change to a different icon and start accruing wins under that tribe, you lose progress on your previous tribe. If you acquire a new 'upgraded' icon for fully joining a new tribe, you will lose your old 'upgraded' icon. Choose wisely!

You only lose your icon if you win 10 games on a new one (which replaces the one you had previously), not if you switch.
I'd go for Ashe or Sejuani, but both being underwhelming (well, it's more that I'm not a fan of the upward pointing triangle patterns like Ashe's, and Sej's feel a bit generic with the hammer design  ) I settled on Sejuani's.

nah just that little isn't worth it to me compared to what you get for leveling his other abilities. The main thing is the armor and mr anyway and those aren't affected.
10s off the ult with little to no extra bonuses vs 3s off pillar with a higher slow %... the choice is clear
Yup Lissandra icon is the best by far.

Sion's ult can be skipped in many cases if you're playing AP. Depends on the game/matchup. I'd still lvl trundles ult normally.
Am i the only one who voted avarosa and actually likes the icon? >_>

I hate to admit it but I really like the new Trundle. I was a fan of the old one and I generally don't like when they give champs make-overs (RIP gankplank chest pubes) but he actually feels a lot better to play now and they didn't change him mechanically. I don't know if the newer crisper visuals make him better or the theme of an Ice Troll King just has more "Feel Good" moments but he is much more enjoyable to play.
His pillar seems a lot more responsive than it used to and his ult definitely has a much sweeter visual effect to make you feel a lot better when casting it.

I dunno, I can def. see an argument for not levelling Trundle ult past 6.
All you get is 10 secs off the cd and 2% more health drain per level. The armor/mr drain remains constant.
Compare that to another level of W giving 5% movespeed, 15% aspd and 3% healing, or dropping the cooldown on his E and getting it closer to where you can use it twice in one fight, I can definitely see levelling it at 6/17/18.

I can still remember when poppy Q max hp dmg was something very special, on a champion that really needs to utilize it. Now every other champion has something similiar...

20 second CD reduction on ultimate is a big deal. I might consider leaving ranks 2 and 3 until after E is maxed, but given that W doesn't even grant Tenacity anymore, I don't see why you'd max W over getting rank 2/3 ultimate.

Given your role, the 15% ASpd isn't that consequential, 2% health drain on ulti is going to be worth more than 3% total healing, and 10 sec ult CD is probably worth more than 5% MS.

Yeah, tried it next one, it pans the camera to the other nexus too.
Trundle's "traditional" skin is super bad though and doesn't retain the feeling of the original, which really annoys me. Plus, even though all of his new lines aren't bad, they're a lot more generic than his original ones (his taunts/jokes less so), he feels... well he has a lot less character. He's the bland big guy with little personnality like Darius or Jayce (granted Darius is the kind of guy they'd have to use in lore to give some insight on him, and Jayce's archetype is meant to look shallow).
And I don't like the fluorescent blue of his pillar, it feels... I dunno. Visually I really didn't like it compared to before. The rest doesn't stand out as much.
