Riot reviews all permabans from the Tribunal before handing them out.

In my experience W clears slower than Q because it deals less damage. E deals a lot of damage if you use the empowered version during a gank because you want the added slow and snare. W is obviously a mix between damage and tankiness. This skill used to be broken doing 255 + 1 damage compared to what it is now, 170 + .8 with a different heal. Also Rengar lost a lot on his bonetooth necklace. At max stacks he can no longer instantly get another empowered stack.
If he's getting reworked hopefully he gets buffed though I'm not sure if it's needed. I was hoping to actually have a champion I could try out without Riot messing with them for a few weeks. :/ I was seriously tired of wards preventing my ganks or people playing so safe so I bought Rengar. I guess I can go back to jungle Twitch or buy Shaco or Nocturne now. I keep trying to play him both top and jungle and, while he still has quite a bit of damage and nice utility with a heal and slow/snare, the more I play him, the more he just feels lacking. Really fun, I like his kit a lot, but the nerfs to his entire kit were pretty bad.
I'm also really not sure what to level on him. He feels really vulnerable without leveling W, and with the nerfs even max rank doesn't feel as tanky as it did before. I haven't really found many lanes I can 1v1 reliably even with W up, unless I take them by surprise. I tried the whole "Max E and poke them with it because no mana", but a Cloth armor and any sort of sustain makes that useless.
So yeah, I want a rework of some sort, as long as they keep his kit and character in place.

I'm really curious as to how to make it work. I've seen a lot of people use a CDR based build with things like Kindle, Bruta, and Glacial, which I like, but perhaps I'm not using good Runes/Masteries/Skill orders.

Being able to E twice in a fight seems waaaaaaay better than being able to try for a lucky Q earlier in lane (who tries random hooks the moment its off cooldown in lane?). I'm viewing this as a buff to Thresh personally.

Me too. I would actually much rather be able to max E since it's reliable damage and CC in skirmishes, it's a form of waveclear which is valuable on supports these days to help your ADC balance the lane or push when you force them back. You only need to Q once in a fight, and sometimes you just want to hit a minion for the gap closer; in fact, maxed Q proves detrimental sometimes because you end up killing the minion you're attempting to pull towards.
TL:DR: I think if you moved the passive to E, it just ends up buffing Thresh.

Its the future thresh who maxed E over Q.
the problem is that Q gets 6 seconds off of its CD if maxed, which brings it down to maybe getting 2 casts off in a teamfight vs 1. and in any teamfight past quite early thats gonna be a big difference in that 2 hooks is way stronger than 2 E's once people get some health. W is also stronger than E in teamfights, so you are paying a pretty steep teamfight price for maybe better fighting in lane.

Even when tuelite nuked, he still haunts TL. Must be bored cuz no KARA promotion right now.

Come on, it was obvious at release that Rengar's kit was dumb. Rewards you for spamming stuff on cooldown, no resource, the dreaded combo going with sustain (hey Vlad, you know how they said you're an awful design right before releasing that champ?), a kit made so that he can 100-0 you at level 1 with some cheese, and an instant stealth on a low cd ult...
We just won a game where the support Thresh stomped the enemy Vayne/Taric lane, going 3-0 early on (while Vayne got a kill on Trist). He rushed aegis and just did his thing, smashing people around while being tanky as f***. I thought he was super good, especially with the clutch hooks (I only saw him miss like 2, I'm not gonna count the number of Cleavers I missed that game... ), then I tabbed back to my browser, and the LoLNexus tab... and only noticed then that he was platinum and Trist unranked. Went back to LoL, Trist just won his first ranked game ever in s3. The enemy team had a duo with a Silver I and Gold V player (the Gold V was the last pick amongst a Silver I team). ... there should be some way to prevent that. Ending up with a plat player in a low-mid Silver I game is absurd.

Also apart from the "we don't talk about the tribunal here", what does the fact that he is a popular streamer has to do with the fact that you believe he doesn't deserve the ban? ôo

But they often fail to review them properly. Just look through that case and you'll see.

The Tribunal decision might have been off, but Riot probably looked at his entire report history which contains more than just this Tribunal reports shown. But whatever, we're not supposed to be talking about this so that's the last I'll say on the matter.

I find it funny though, if EG never picked up LoL team, I seriously doubt incontrol would give a rats ass about that many viewers in a random LoL duel that drew in that many viewers.

A good solution, I think, would be to not only match average MMRs but to also match individual MMRs - like if a plat duo queues with a bronze then match him up with another plat that duoed with a bronze. Queue times would probably be horrendous but people that queue with too-far-apart MMRs probably deserve it :D

This issue is supposed to already be solved. You're supposed to only play games with people with a similar number of wins as you. It's not the issue of the one guy being plat, it's the issue of the other guy being in placement games, meaning that the system can't accurately measure his skill level and has a huge chance of getting it wrong.
I've got something like 300 ranked games played or whatever in S3 and I still see people in my games who are in placement, they're always either much worse or much better than everybody else on the team and it's stupid.
