You're only a good pro team if you split push last second with some type of teleport to win. Otherwise, blame what side you're on.

split pushing to end and diving are two completely different things

im talking about diving in lane phase, and diving when pushing and split pushing are not exclusive, you can dive without 5.

Considering that well executed dives are essentially the peak of the game when it comes to understanding damage potentials of each side of the fight(and tower), it makes sense that it's one of the separators of high end teams. Or luck. But if you don't want your dives to be lucky you need to know everything that can happen and how much can be done vs needs to be done, by every party involved. It's also why dives that look amazingly executed can be so quickly destroyed by one unknown being introduced, which goes into how the top teams also have amazing instincts/understanding of movement across the map.

GG guys, 2064 max concurrent viewers. <3 TL; thanks for sticking up for us in twitch chat when they were ripping us up for being bad.

The feeling of winning a game after losing 8 straight is just absolute relief.

They were talking with scarra in one of the LCS interviews and he said that. Except instead of "so we split pushed" he said "so we just don't end the laning phase". The wins in question has all three of digs lanes being pushed by their respective owners with the jungler invading heavily

Man this League system is so weird..
On my smurf account I was first pick when I was gold 5 and all other 9 players were plat (I was also gaining around 45 LP for a win at this time though) and on my main account I keep getting Diamond 1's and 2's below me in picks when I'm diamond 3. Then today I have a diamond 5 ahead of me in picks and 2 diamond 1's below me...

that is because your LP and league are only cosmetic. the whole system still uses your elo as your mmr. LP and leagues will allways lagg behind your elo in some way. the diamond 5 player you mention has clearly higher elo than the rest of the team and will probably be in diamond 1 very soon for example

I know how it works but I just think it's horribly stupid.
Also the Diamond 5 told me he was stuck there cuz he had 2400 Elo before League system and every time he got promotion series (which was often cuz he was winning a lot of LP) he just lost them.
Edit: The problem is that he needs to win 3 promotion series before he can get Diamond 1 (from plat 5 - he obviously won 1 promotion already) and if he's unlucky that can possibly be a LOT of games.

If his MMR/Elo is really that different from his division then the first time he wins a promotion series he'll probably jump a division. I don't think he can jump straight to diamond 1 but still he's probably only 2 promotion series away.

No. He got to diamond by playing Draven. That's different than getting carried by <x>. He's legit diamond on Draven, almost everyone else though..;;

I said to get to Diamond 1 from plat 1 you need to win 3 promotions which can be a lot of games if your MMR is high and you're kinda unlucky with what games you win and what games you don't.

A while back somebody in a GD thread said if you only play weekday mornings you will have in general much better experiences.
I was a little skeptical, but then I tried it for a few weeks, and I have to say it's totally true.
The number of assholes you play with on like a Wednesday morning compared to a Friday night or a Saturday morning is just night and day.
