So, has anyone a good top champ, that is not renekton, and can deal with cho and other sustain-tanky bastards like him? Everytime i have to top lately, i loose. I want to change that.
On other news, i don't think Quinn can be played top. She just doesn't do enough damage without building pure glass cannon, and she just does not have enough escape to do that on top lane. I got dumped so hard by akali, i wasn't able to remove Nasus from lane, i destroyed a Kat. Enuf evidence.
The fabulous game from Dyrus, i feel like he build pretty stupid, not using any of the advantages of Taric. Building no mana, no armor too little CDR. But he was very good at saying fabulous.

AP tryn still so obnoxious. He significantly less obnoxious, but he still split push pretty hard, still borderline unkillable. I think he should be nerfed harder. Its not even that he overpowered, its just when he is in the game it is inevitably stalled out another 20-30 minutes because tryns team likely has a sizable disadvantage because AP tryn's laning is so bad. But his pushing so good that no one gives a damn and you just have to endure split push after split push because that shenanigans so obnoxious.
Then you team only starts dealing with it properly once all your outer turrets dead.
Case in point, I just played a 1:06:38 long ranked game, kills in my teams favor 62-32. If enemy team didn't have an AP tryn, game probably ended at 20 minute mark with other team surrendering.
<_<
It doesn't even matter if you shut him down absurdly hard. He just push and never stop, and it just kills the game. makes it no fun at all. It doesn't require strategy, just binary pushing. Is lane filled with enemy team? No? Push it. Yes? choose another lane.
I dont even think he is imbalanced... I'm just so tired of seeing AP tryndamere in this game. -.-

I like Irelia, personally. They want to play a farmy tanky top? Pick a top that scales better and oblige them with their farm fest. Warwick fun too.

I don't think I've ever in my entire LoL gaming history seen Jax lose to a cho'gath.

I'm confused how somebody's laning can be "so bad" yet they can't be removed from lane.
Learn to play against a splitpusher. Pick teleport, shove and roam for plays. Come back before he gets to your turret. Rinse, repeat.
If you aren't able to shove him out, then you bascially have to bodyguard your turret as long as Tryndamere is there and hope your team can win the 4v4. If you can force him to back off, then you can do what Hotshot did in Curse vs CLG, and force Tryndamere to participate in teamfights on a character who is awful in teamfights, while you're somebody who has much more impact on teamfights.
Rememeber, your goal is not to kill the Tryndamere. Your goal is to kill the minions.

It is hard to deal with splitpushing by uncatchable guys in soloqueue, because it is very hard to get exactly one person to go there and just stop them. Either noone goes to stop them, and they just push your inhib down, or all of your team runs towards them while the rest of the team gets free stuff on the other side of the map. The hard part is to just convince one of the persons that can stop that guy 1v1 to go there and stop him, while the rest of the team does other stuff. Luckily, the splitpusher runs into similar problems, where it is hard for him to convince his team to do something somewhere else and NOT get caught 4v5, but also NOT come into his lane and push with him. It's even funnier if you are in the team with the splitpusher, and he just does not splitpush for some weird reason.

Well. I'd say Elise can deal with about anyone top. Only champ I had some trouble with her would be Yorick, but, it's Yorick...

And, as anyone on this forum will tell you, playing Yorick makes you evil. Gentleman's Rule of LoL #1: Don't Play Yorick.

I play Yorick.
Death is the gift I offer.
I mean, I'm not evil at all.

Sounds really cool, but relocating to Australia sounds dangerous. I heard the Zerg landed there, and mixed with local DNA, and the locals actually became LESS deadly when mixed with Zerg DNA.

Playing Yorick is like playing the hot chick in the programming class who sits next to the nerd and copies off his test. It takes zero effort and the entire class knows what she's doing but they let her do it anyway.

why did I just spend 10 in watching that

I think that Yorick top is easy but it's actually fairly unforgiving. If you go even or even lose (because of ganks or whatever) to someone who scales mid-lategame even remotely then you pretty much lost your team the game all things being equal. He just doesn't offer much in teamfights outside of his ult. His ult IS nice but it needs to be paired with a hypercarry/ap (kog/cass) to make picking him worth it. If you don't have a significant gold/item advantage he just becomes a mediocre bruiser with no gap closer.

The problem with Yorick is your late game presence is much less about how good you are and much more about how good your ADC is.
