What I'm contesting is that hitting 2.5k health by the second item is so much more likely. In both cases, your opponent needs to be going for health otherwise the BotrK will not work. I wanted to stress that it is situational and not straight up better as a second damage item. | ||

I hit the blue buff using Pantheon (since HSS ticks faster than Liandry's and he does physical damage so it's easier to distinguish the purple numbers) with jut Liandry's. - Liandry reevaluates its damage for every tick (first were 19, then it fell to 18) - Any spell damage will reset the ticking, so with spells ticking faster than every half-second it seems that Liandry will never proc until the last tick. I'm going to test it with a spell ticking every half-second this time. Tested with Udyr's Tiger Stance: Liandry's didn't start ticking until the end of the DoT. Liandry doesn't interact in any special way with DoTs, it just starts ticking later. Don't get your hopes up. | ||

I think the issue is that people want someone who plays the role of Day[9] providing informative content that can be absorbed by people at any level. What he does is more than just commentary or producing VoDs, so people just use the name of his show as the moniker for that sort of stuff. However Day[9] is also a brand, which means people also attribute him and his personality to the description at the same time. It's the same as people saying "I want to be the TL of XYZ". Without a proper catch-all word, the next best alternative ends up also carrying with it all the connotation and history as well. Really, the main thing for anyone who wants to do these sorts of things is just to work on your own identity and who you and your show are as a person, an image and ideal. There's very little escaping the gravitational pull of the black hole that is things like Day[9]'s persona or the TL image. It means you simple have to become your own brand and identity to differentiate yourself and be recognised as a unique entity rather than "a copy of XYZ". In some ways that's a good thing, in others not so much. C'est la vie. Also, you have nice hair. | ||

Like, would you guys agree that Sc2 WoL > is HOTS is comparable to S2 > S3 patch? Not surprised it's Scoot though who rants abit on twitter, he claims he has played enough LoL but I doubt he made it past lvl 5 with all the Anti LoL in the past. | ||

Although I tend to play a bit differently than everyone else, at least in terms of how everyone seems to talk. I tend to believe that laning, especially in solo q, is VASTLY overrated and that the key to winning games it to play smart and win in the mid game. | ||

I'd agree, but to my knowledge there were no tournaments that used S2 patches to qualify, but played the tournament itself on the S3 patch - so I agree that qualifying on WoL and having the tourney on HotS (especially with relatively small notice for players who need to practice) is an atrocious call to make. The S3 patch started during something of an "off-season" I'm trying to remember which tourney did it, but there was at LEAST one tourney that was held on the last S2 patch and not on S3 content. | ||

It's because of tournament realm.Most big events are 1 patch behind with champs disabled most times. | ||

G-League was played on S2 patch until the semifinals, which were played on S3. | ||
