Yeah, I noticed that as well. When I was in silver my lane opponent tended to stick to one recommended build despite the lane matchup or circumstances, and would still try to trade with me. As I'm approaching plat it seems like they are adjusting builds more and play much more passive. I kind of like it though, it's teaching me to be more aware of where the jungle is and the lane opponents movements to predict if a Gank is inc. I think the only thing left to do is truly master 3-4 champs that can be picked according to the situation and stop playing overly aggro at risk of dying for "da plays". Right now I'm like 80% w/l with Irelia, but id like to branch out to Jax and a couple of situational picks. My riven/akali is ok, but it's gotten harder to snowball to victory ;_; | ||

I couldn't refrain my inner lamer from bad mouthing ez, and he even stole my penta at the end. I'm not sure this system was the best way to make people learn how to be chill about the game. Also nice write up TL writing team as always. | ||

It has nothing to do with the format, since before people were stressed about every game for +/- elo and also at the XX00 borders. What really helped me was to change my attitude from "fuck these guys are feeding and making the game too hard" to "hm I wonder if I can carry my 2/11 bot lane" so that when I do win those games I feel that I really accomplished a lot in the game and definitely have the skill to improve and if I lose then its just that I may be better but not good enough to win that particular one. | ||

This kind of mental attitude is what makes the difference between good and shitty lol player in my opinion. For exemple, I started playing back in WC2, I have good mechanics and gaming has become like a second nature to me (like most men who started at my age), but I know I'm just bad at lol because no matter what I do, if my team just feed, I tend to stress up, and make bad decisions because I'm just tired at my team. And the fact that it's a team game makes it easier for me to evade any critic. | ||

I REALLY love him right now, he makes me wanna play ADC main, he is fairly tanky, has a steroid and a good waveclear, and an insane burst at lvl6 in lane. Imo I'm having a breeze laning, and in teamfights I'm always useful even if it's only smokescreen. I really think it's easy to stomp lane phase with him though, his passive makes him really good and you can go balls to the walls with your dash if your support feels like hard engaging Honestly my CS with him thus far has been really good ( two games of 40 and 49 minutes where I got 275 and 325 and a 20:00 game where I was at 13-1-2 and 120 CS ), I feel his only problems are lack of AS before I get phantom dancer, and his range being lackluster. Why isn't he picked more ? I can totally see him ruining a MF sona or an Ezreal lane, because of his burst and tankiness, put him with leona or taric and you can just shit on the ennemy bot lane. I really don't think you could play anything that isn't tanky with him when you're support, so that's also a drawback | ||
