The combo was pretty hard... (I was surprised that Kog had almost as much magical damage than physical damage, in the "dealt to champions" part; well, he had Shiv, too) HP is better to get than armour because it's cheaper, but Kog inflicts %maxHP magical damage. So do I get MR? But then I'm not that protected against Xerath, since he ignores a high % of it (he even built abyssal... ), whose combo I'm better off building HP for.
Armour? Kog has a LW.
Also notice that it was a 6 items Kog against a mostly 4 items Vi. I was often behind him (troll support massing AP on Nid and stealing kills with spears, even when 100% secured, so I didn't get much gold from the fights I got in) from up to 2 items. In the midgame I think I could have killed him 1v1 (because ult+Q against his only defense which is a slow), but it was the endgame scaling that got me (also his shred is more powerful than mine, even though he only had a warmogs for defense). That was the same in s2 against most AD carries.

Yeah, the fact that Kog is one of the scariest 6 item champs in the game certainly didn't help your cause.

Yeah, I just finished a game as Vi with Razor's/Phage/MoBo/Mogs/Zephyr. Always dive, never not dive and do a billion damage. Then again, between first blood and the proest leash I have ever gotten my first back was phage/boots so I was already off to a very nice start.
Thanks for the stinger Vi suggestion, without a doubt superior to Brutalizer on her. Then it just becomes when, if ever, do I buy BC? XD

OK, heres my idea
all da champs have 3 skills and an ult, and then there are ones with like no ult, and the ones with a bunch skills and no ult.
so then how about new innovative idea:
New Champ. 4 ults, no skills. He is like useless average man who run around and punch with his fists. Then every 100 seconds he can alpha strike like nuclear submarine and fly across map and also summon volcano.

What do you guys think of Janna support nowadays? I keep thinking in my head that with all these diving bruisers, that Janna would be a great support in late team fights as a peeling machine. Q, W, and R are all fantastic ways of helping your AD out of trouble, and R is an instant cast that also doubles as a slight heal.

Since the armour reduction from BC is pretty fine with her W, but works better whenever the enemy's armour is higher (unless the flat ArPen lets you do true damage hue) I'd be against finishing BC first, if at all. After bruta, if you want defense, build some defensive stuff, if you want offense, get some more cost-efficient AD, then finish BC once they get tankier (either from items or levels) and the fights are actually somewhat drawn-out rather than bursty.
^ I like Janna but I guess with all the instant gapclosers and burst she isn't as good as she used to be (mobility creep yay) and her laning phase isn't as strong as Lulu's or Sona's. She also isn't as good offensively and with teams playing more aggressive than protective I guess she just has less synergy than she used to.

Been enjoying Morg for those same reasons. Her peel is Janna-level but you can also make your lane turn into a kill-fest if you hit some great binds. Plus with all these melee assassins jumping around raping shit, your shield usually sticks around to eat all the CC, and not just get blown off with one AP nuke as it usually does. All around fun shit.

I've been toying around with options with the Stinger core, so BC was going to be delayed for quite a while. Still, it was the fastest 11k I've ever gotten in the jungle, I think. I saw the it was suggested Stinger => Phage but I'm too cc greedy. I guess it is because of how long I spent with Shyvanna as as my main jungler.

it's not wrong to build armor against stacked up penetration on an opponents' team, as long as their damage is mostly of one type. in this case having extra armor from jarvan+taric frees up your champs to build more damage / HP. can't be bad.
for maokai, it stops the all-in dives / prolonged chases that GBG enjoys

I don't like being squishy so phage good mix of offensive and defensive stats to me. I usually play like I don't have the slow anyway, it's too frustrating not to get it off in 3-4 hits and let the enemy run at 100 HP. :<
