It's like they didn't even try. it makes me wonder how the game's core concepts would have turned out if the designers didn't feel like they could lean on dota. dominion is basically the new player's experience of playing the game turned into a ruleset. - noobies don't have a sense of clear objectives, dominion's objective setting sucks - noobies don't shut out opponents in lanes or farm properly so basically people end up pretty similar strength regardless of how the early game goes. in dominion the gold and xp is ambient - noobies don't position or use walls properly. in dominion all the combat areas are huge, flat plains so it really doesn't matter where you're standing, just how far you are from your opponents - noobies don't close out games, in dominion the timers fight you if you are ahead! - noobies don't time anything, there is pretty much nothing worth timing on dominion | ||

For example today I learned that if you go steal an amumu's blue, he can start red with good leash, do your blue with smite and get away way before you get there. Or even more basic stuff like which junglers are gonna finish red at what timing, and how low, etc B) I don't consider mechanics secrets really secret because they dont come into play most of the time. Much more useful is knowledge of like, whether or not you can trade with someone at a certain level. You can find out from experience but streams can also tell you. | ||

Lot's of things. Very dependant on what you know already. B. Certain timings where X champ is stronger than Y champ. For example I learned off Wickd's stream that from level 4-5 Irelia vs Darius you win if his Q is on CD. You must allin then if you want to kill him/force him back so you can push with ulti and base safely, if not you'll be stuck being bullied from 6 onwards because he's so much stronger at all-in's.That was something I figured out from watching how he played the matchup. Often times these things come naturally to the highest level players because they figure out a champion's kit and how it matches up, but to lower level players it's not as apparent. Also how the higher level players push advantages. That's something that lower level people have huge trouble with. They don't know how to translate winning lane into winning game. | ||
