Seuss, I saw a Jungle Akali in a game this past week and thought it was kind of a joke, but she did surprisingly well. Is this actually legit or is it just a sort of cheesy pick that works sometimes? I can't really see her having good ganks or anything like that. Amumu's always been broken in solo queue imo, he thrives on the enemy's lack of communication or overall coordination. Or at least it's always felt that way in low ELO. which is why we see him dominating in tournament games when we see him, right? (or at least I see hi dominating, even with snoopehs retarded dfg builds he still won games)

He benefits from his own team being coordinated too though. vvvvvv the grand finals of the tournament that Fnatic barely lost had 3 Amumu games IIRC. Worth watching. Well that too. I was saying he's good in competitive play, but broken as hell in solo queue because no one knows how to deal with him. I've seen so many people do stupid things like focus him while standing in melee range, cluster up as soon as he bandage tosses in, or just in general not punish bad ults or missed Bandages. I'm not saying that makes him a bad competitive champ, but most people on here only play solo queue or normals.

The difference between good and broken has some weight in my mind. I don't think in competitive (or I guess high ELO solo/arranged) play he's broken, just as good as ever with some slight upgrades in the new jungle thanks to things like Spirit of the Ancient Golem. Ban worthy to be sure, especially against certain pros, but not broken on the level of "pick, ban, or lose".

I can usually beat him or go even, but Black Cleaver makes that a lot more precarious than it used to be with a balanced rune page. I feel like I probably just need to build a full armor page so the early levels aren't such a pain in the ass. You should see him mid lane then.

It doesnt' guarantee a win though, but you can still call them broken. The difference doesn't really matter, it's just semantics, but saying "broken" carries more weight in your post while saying he's good is just a statement of the obvious. what pisses me off is "in solo queue" is added after so many peoples posts and it's usually meaningless eve was "op in solo queue" until m5 started using her in tournaments. APsion was used in tournaments after being a "only good in solo queue" champ for a while. sion stopped being used in both tournaments as well as in solo queue

If you'd really like to know, I just think that at low levels it sure can feel that way. For every teammate you get that can deal with him (juke bandage tosses, know how to watch for his ganks, know how to spread out/position for his ult), you get one or two that just derp and don't even know things like the fact that you can't auto during his ult, or that autos lower Tantrum's CD. I'm sure it doesn't happen a lot at high ELO, but I was simply saying during my experience and playtime. In fact, I can't remember the last time I didn't see him banned or picked (and be a big influence on victory). Sorry if you perceive that differently, I was merely stating my opinion on the matter. As to the rest of the edit, there are plenty of things that are abusive in solo queue where people are unexposed, inexperienced, and uncommunicative. As most, if not all, of my experience comes from playing and spectating solo queue, I wouldn't want my words to seemingly reflect on the pro scene or high level arranged 5's, which I have no experience with other than some tourneys.

For every teammate being able to "juke bandage tosses" there is an amumu who's so bad that he "can't hit his Q". Skillshots are pretty well scaling for skill level like that. Most things are, I think. Snowbally assassins are better when people group up less, and people who can win their lane easily against people poor at playing defensive, but that's not something that peopel seem to mention a lot.

One time somebody yelled at me for attacking Amumu because "he get more armor every time you attack him." XD

And, to be fair, when I mean flaming, raging, and trolling, I tend to mean the explosions that tend to occur (almost certainly out-of-proportion) around bly, Sufficiency, PrinceXizor, ELO hell, Gp5, etc etc etc that are just how TL LoL GD rolls.

Then I'm inclined to think it's pronounce "vee" as in 'viola' instead of "vi" as in 'violence" Either way, Phreak should say the "official" pronunciation in the spotlight. What Phreak says is what Riot's take on preference.
