Feel bad for Epik gamer, they might get 2nd just in group, but Ggu, gunna give them a run for their money. Curse should win, but I don't think the rest of group A is as weak as you make them out to be, at least they have some experience playing against pro teams (Pulse played in several SoloMid Series tournaments and Brunch Club is made of players from several b-tier Season 2 teams). I think the weakest group is C, a lot of unproven teams, and I'm not even impressed with MP after they lost Polbelter and Light Sludge. Group B lucks out the most since they only have to play Group C teams in the first part of the bracket stage, whoever takes 1/2 in Group B are almost guaranteed to qualify for LCS imo.

He still has 1100 range linear instaclear, excellent zoning during teamfights with W (it stays for between 4.25 and 5s, with 13s base cd at level max, so you can easily use it twice a fight with some cdr, also stop non-gap closing initiations), some kind of tankiness through his Q (shield is calculated on raw damage, so it doesn't matter if your target has 200 MR), and a powerful zoning tool via his ult too in the midgame (less so once people get more tanky through levels and itemization). The most annoying part of his slot management is finding space for wards amongst all those components really.

There's a friggin' S3 Qualifier thread where Roffles and I back and forth'd about the groups yesterday. Don't be lazy. Looking at you wei. ![]()

In BW, Bisu was never referenced as Bisu, but rather KTY. Why the sudden change when League rolls around? Is this to possibly make it easier to follow for foreigner audiences? So they can say "DOUBLELIFTTUUUUUU" On January 11 2013 04:12 OutlaW- wrote: Off topic, but reminder that Raelcun is speedrunning sc2 now on AGDQ Still off topic, but this is highly amusing for almost no reason.

Is this to possibly make it easier to follow for foreigner audiences? maybe it's harder to remember 10names. Also in a 5v5 teamfight if you wanna call a certain champs action it's probably easier to just say the ign because otherwise it would take even longer to play-by-play it^^. Even the western casters have problems to play by play everything unless you're deman, so since you have to speak alot more in korean to convey the same things, it would be even longer I imagine. Unlike in BW/Sc II where it's only 1v1

This reminds me, last night during the Korean commentary of NPL they kept referring to Lux's ult as "DEMACIA!!!", or at least whenever she used her ult they would yell DEMACIA!!! was freakin hilarious

You should know well, Mr. "I don't build damage items until 20 minutes into the game". ![]() In fact, I'd wager that 9/0/21 would fit better with your playstyle if you're just going to sit on Chalice/Sightstone for a long time. While I don't disagree that 9/0/21 is better for some people's playstyles, I just have never seen the point of going 9/0/21 since they sent the AP to the offense tree. I go 21/0/9 and get my max mana, mana regen, and buff duration. I get all the AP in offense plus extra damage to minions and the ignite buff that gives me 5 more 5 ap and AD while ignite is on CD. Then again I am looking to kill the enemy mid before 6. Having 34 starting AP on a 1.0 AP scaling champ like Anivia really helps me to blow up the enemy mid. And it allows me to focus on building mana and mana regen while still being able to do damage until I complete RoA. I like playing the style that if you make a mistake or try to trade with me mid, then I get to blow you up.

I'd think it's because 1) Non-korean names can sound ridiculous when trying to put them in Korean especially without proper knowledge of pronunciation and 2) people already know the foreigners as "Hotshogg, doublelift" etc. Since Maknoon and whatever his Korean name sounds both good enough in Korean, they just use in-game tags for everyone.
