Am I wrong? Yes, the old builds are still king and work perfectly fine, You might wanna take Black cleaver (current version) over LW on some champs at the moment. And I'd recommend statik Shiv on some champs who have waveclear problems, like Vayne e.g. but most of the time I'd still prefer Phantom Dance because it has better stats, but it's also a tiny bit more expensive. I experimented alot with with SOTD and I like it for some "WTF CRIT LUCKER" 1v1 duels, but most of the time I still sell it at some point to finish my 6item build because as AD you have only 1 Attack speed item usually and PD,SV> SOTD in that regard because after you used the active ^you are left with no AS. PD/SV crit chance synergy with IE and the permanent AS from them is better for your sustained damage imo. Also Runaan's Hurricane was the most overhyped item. I tried it quite a bit and It's completely shit even on champs who people expected to buy it like kog/cait/varus. | ||

I really want Hurricane to be good  The only place I've found it decent is when you go BT/Hurricane/BotRK and then never die because you lifesteal like half of your health bar per shot when there's 3 people on you. | ||

In the game I tried it out, I got it because we lacked long range wave clear and poke compared to the enemy cait + Lux. It shored up that weakness well enough, and felt like the PD-like stats still supplied solid damage when it came down to "just be a carry and autoattack all the things" too. Build that game was BT, BC, Shiv, QSS, Triforce. (Long game) Worth noting that even after the nerf, I might still prefer a BC over a LW on Ezreal, because the CDR is great when you have a "Press Me to reduce all cooldowns" and the armor pen is solid on both squishies AND tankies. (unless I clearly need both) | ||

While muramama is nice it isn't required imo but until they nerf it iceborn gauntlet is 100% core on Ez. Like unless you play stupid it's almost impossible for the enemy team to engage if you run Ez +iceborn. | ||

It might be rare to hit three at once, but it is not rare at all for you to hit two champs at once in a team fight. And hitting two at once with your auto attack in a team fight can be HUGE. Worked well for me in a game yesterday - got a couple kills on champs that I didn't even realize I was hitting until they died. | ||

I know, the idea was that you use on-hits to pick up the slack, since the on-hits apply fully. But even champs with good on-hits don't use hurricane that well.  I mean, it has the highest AS of any singular item in the game save SotD active, so it's not like there's no value on it, but yeah it's not as good as getting an AS/Crit item. | ||
