You don't need the deep offensive/defensive trees to clear, the extra gold means you keep up and can start Flask+Machete, and the extra exp means you will hit 6 faster and stay on par with lanes exp wise. Also the extra move speed means you are almost as fast with no boots as most champs are with lvl 1 boots. I have been having quite a bit of luck with the 0/9/21 and wondering if I am missing something. Also why does no one build Lich Bane on her? Makes your q>ult>aa attack much more powerful, and with the way her cool downs are you can burn down towers at an absurd rate. Add in the extra mana/AP from the Sheen part and it seems like a perfect item for her. Here's what I use: + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/1psGW.png) I run AS reds, Armor yellows, Scaling AP blues, and flat AP quints
Because Iceborne Gauntlet is badass on her. (that's just my opinion). Also, I find running around 21 or more in defensive tree to be quite nice. I may not need it to clear but it helps keep me healthier for when it comes time to gank.

No CDR from Athenes if you buy Crucible. I guess if you consider DFG mandatory and assume blue/bluepot you might not need it.

APs like Anivia and Orianna go 9/0/21 for 10% CDR, and get 40% with blue buff + blue elixer. Someone like Galio who probably wants 21 defense can get 15% from Spirit Visage as well.

This patch is the dumbest iteration of League that I have ever played. Holy shit when are they going to fix roit pls -Doublelift.
I haven't seen him build a single new item yet, but BC stack would be pretty frustrating imo.

i mean does anyone actually think otherwise? when even doublelift is right, you know something is wrong. been playing since beta and this is no doubt the worst league has ever been.

YOU KNOW, bc is technically not a new item. HOLY FUCKING SHIT I'M AN ARB

While Riot still have to re-balance the numbers on some items (i.e. Black Cleaver) , I think that the season 3 patch conceptually has actually been a huge improvement. There is now way more variety in items and masteries. For instance, starting items have much greater variety and no longer boots+3 pots for every champion, or AD carries no longer having 1 item build every game without exception. So I for one think the current patch is a great development for LoL once it gets ironed out a bit and i'll be bold enough to say that I think i'm in the majority of opinion, at least on this forum.

Wow now that I think about it, SV on Galio doesn't sound that half bad.

I like LoL right now, Melee carries are finally viable, and the game punishes minor mistakes more heavily. Penetration as a whole is a dumb mechanic though.

I think I am finally getting the hang of Diana jungle. I was never bad per say, but I wasn't carry my team good before.

Now, I am averaging about a double kill per game and a 3.5 KDA. Hopefully after they nerf her Q again, people won't see the need to ban her as much so I can jungle her more often.
I've also learned it's better to let the first couple of kills go to your lane and don't take any for myself until teamfight phase if possible.

There was never a doubt that there would be some imbalance issues with an update this big.
But can you honestly say this isn't a good direction for league? You can't. Tons of new items for almost every role, there's now good variety where there used to be static builds, the masteries are a big improvement, boots changes have allowed for much more diverse openings, and the T3 enchantments allow for even more customization late game. To top it off, they, for the most part, did this while allowing established standard builds to remain strong.
There's some imba stuff that needs changes, but overall the design of season 3 is pretty fucking solid.

Tried chalice/SV, but it gives no damage, chalice/haunting guise, but no cdr. I was considering axing chalice as a whole but then mana would actually become a problem outside of laning. I'm willing to test chalice/morello's since it gives around the same stats as grail for about 200 more gold. Anybody have other ideas? stop playing nunu top is the best suggestion i can give you I don't think cleaver stacking on garen will last for more than a week Also I could just buy grail anyways (as I do now), but the 30 ap nerf does feel bad, despite the combination of stats being great for nunu. It's still cost effective anyways since you end up paying 920 for 30 ap, infinite mana, and 5% cdr
Does the healing debuff on Morello's work on Baron?

As far as this patch goes, I think it's too early to tell what the changes in s3 will effect the meta. Even in terms of champ picks. I mean, obviously aside from items like BC, where it is on the op'd side; it's simply too early to tell what champ picks will be bettter. What I know will happen is top lane aggression at lvl4-5 will be super super gimicky and aggressive, more-so than it already is. There's no way a jungler can come out of jungle early enough with enough health to gank that early, so top lanes are going to be able to find timing windows and power curves where they can get aggressive without being punished by a jungle gank.

There are plenty of junglers that can go wolf/blue/wraith/red and then come top at full hp, with a couple pots left.
Alot depends on getting good help with blue though.

i never know what to build on diana jungle; abyssal, dfg, zhonya's, lichbane/gauntlet, haunting guise, and even deathcap all seem so key in their own ways but obviously you can't even get half of them on jungle gold.
i've had a ton of success practicing jungling her in normals, but whether it's her not fitting into the meta, a general increase in opponent skill level, or even just too small a sample size i've really struggled with her in ranked.

Most junglers are going to do 2nd rotation after red, any gank straight after red if not successful will put you WAY behind.
It's most likely wolf/blue/wraiths/red/golem/wolves/wraith/back.

When you jungle Diana, you are probably going to end up buying boots and two Doran's rings on your first shop trip. (This is assuming you stayed out awhile trying to gank and farm and didn't get yourself killed). I get the Golem Spirit stone eventually on her for the Tenacity so I can get Mpen boots. Other items are situational. If ganks are working out and the enemy team is AD heavy, then go for FH or Iceborn Gauntlet. If the enemy AP or APs are doing well get your Abyssal first. If you are stomping the enemy team then go for the big ticket items like DFG, deathcap, etc. I tend to build her as tanky as possible while still getting AP with the stats.
As far as jungle route for Diana is concerned I'll go either
wolves > blue > wraiths > wolves > red >wraiths > gank > wraiths and/or golems > wraiths and/or wolves
or
wraiths > wolves > blue > wraiths > wolves > red > gank > wraiths and/or golems > wolves and/ or wraiths
