It'll come down to how the item is priced though. It still has the potential to be an alternative to other lane sustain items if the price is aggressive enough (I could see it being bought at, say, 300 gold, seeing as it's basically 2 health pots and a mana pot every time you leave base, so it pays for itself after 2 refills). It actually sounds more practical on junglers than laners since junglers back more often. | ||

Right now the only real mixed-regen option for junglers is Philo Stone, which is comparatively expensive and slow to develop. A much more aggressively priced option could push forward jungler item timings, especially if there's more gold in the jungle on the whole. Also keep in mind that because several of the basic health/mana regen items are going away, the list of regen item options in general could change a lot. | ||

In tournaments and stream I'd just see malphite ult in, and then immediately flash out because buying shurelias made him less tanky. Defensive stats have multiplicative scaling too. Buying a half tank item like wits or sunfire and then going to shurelias and calling oneself tanky on a bruiser would be the ADC equivalent of buying a maw and then a frozen mallet and saying they did damage. Someone mentioned that the game would be more and more about items than what champion you picked or your individual skill. It kind of already is. When your opponent is up 3 dorans blades to 1 top lane, you've lost the lane no matter what champion you or your opponent are. As long as they freeze the lane they can zone you forever. | ||
