Here's an interesting question: does Hurricane trigger defensive on-attack procs? E.g. do Hurricane secondary shots hitting a target with Warden's Mail trigger the MS/AS slow?

Kills and Assists reduces the Cooldown of Flash by XX Seconds, I would imagine.

Most likely it's going to be an item that reduces summoner CDs like the remade Eleisa's we saw before.

No, you're misunderstanding me.

Warden's Mail triggers on BEING hit. I'm asking whether that applies to an AD hitting a target with Warden's with secondary shots. Because if so, the item could actually backfire--and net you a LOSS of DPS if you're repeatedly proccing enemy Warden's Mails with the secondary bolts.

Currently, proccing Warden's/Randuin's is a significant and noticeable loss of damage for an AD--but controllable if you're not put in a situation where you have to focus the Warden's carrier. If Hurricane secondary bolts trigger Warden's, you may inadvertently trigger the Warden's slow on yourself even if you're not attacking the Warden's carrier.

If I were to guess about the flash thing it'd be an item or mastery (probably item) that reduces flash CD on kill or assist, seeing that they already do really like the "gapcloser resets on kill/assist" mechanic (trist, kat, khazix, akali...)

Beside on Kog'maw and maybe marginally on Varus, this item isn't really that great (at least not on ADC). In order to deal 2x the damage (barring crits), you need to be hitting 3 targets at once. ADCs typically do not have the luxury to do that.

What I am more interested in is whether or not the bolts will also apply Ashe's Q.

I dont see why not. They apply on-hit effects, plain and simple.

The only reason the Vayne exception is brought up is because Silver Bolt's explicitly resets if you swap targets (which would therefore prevent it from ever reaching 3 stacks if the secondary Hurricane bolts procced it--each Hurricane bolt would reset the stack counter switching targets).

I would assume.

I think it's more of a situational item, the type of which they want to have more of. Are you going to get it on ADs every game? No, but if you're in an AoE comp, or you end up in a game where you want to burn down multiple people at the same time instead of a single target, it could be a worthy AS choice over the nerfed PD.

Also, since it looks like the other procs will give Lifesteal, this looks like a great tool to pair up with BT if you want to be really survivable in fights.

It's important to note that the Warden's Mail/Randuin's proc is unique in that it is the only Attack Speed debuff in the game which is subtractive rather than multiplicative. This makes it very strong in the early game when enemies have very little Attack Speed, but not so much later in the game (especially as it's applied before multiplicative effects such as Frozen Heart or Randuin's Active). The real strength late-game is the Movement Speed aspect of the proc, which allows bruisers to catch kiting carries.

So while Hurricane might ensure lots of Randuin's procs, presuming the enemy team stacked them, the DPS loss isn't as much of a concern as the potential for being caught.

I have a question as to how the Hurricane chooses the side targets. If it was simple an AOE around the primary target then you could use it to extend your range by attacking a closer enemy and hitting a farther away enemy with a side bolt. Or it could be a cone with range equal to your attack range and angle centered towards your primary target. This would probably make more sense visually.


EDIT: This is exactly like MTG previews, they show us some cool items/cards out-of-context and forumites spend hours on theorycraft that is 75% wrong in the end.

Support Ashe new meta with this + Pickpocket. Harass in lane, always slow.

In seriousness though, this will be nice on her with the new Tear, AoE slow on autos that builds her mana and gives her another Toggle for more damage. Maybe her build will be different from most ADs.

Will this item work with Twisted Fate's pick a card? If that counts as an on-hit could he stun 3 people at once, or regen 3 times the mana?
