and im sorry if my posts are confrontational. its just really obnoxious to constantly see people saying things like they are fact when they are really opinions. furthermore, it is kind of beside the point if shyvana is outclassed in tournament games (which i dont even think is true. Saint draws shyv bans, and the very fact that she was deemed good enough to play for a million dollars says she is not outclassed). none of us play in (meaningful) tournaments, and what happens in them has little to no bearing on our games. | ||

While this is true, it's also the only environment in which the phrase "I wish X was viable" holds any relevant meaning. Everything is viable in low level solo queue. Over the vast majority of the ladder, your fundamentals make a much larger impact than picking a "top-tier" hero. In the context of solo queue, there's absolutely nothing that makes Fiora not worth playing (which is where the whole discussion came up). The only real factor that limits what you can play in solo queue is that if you play something really out of the ordinary, your teammates will think you're trolling. And what people consider "troll" picks is largely dictated by what they see high Elo players play--which DOES trickle down from tournament play. | ||
