Dunno how long that's been there, but it didn't work the ~month after the 2500 surprising free IP for me :3 I know it's an old topic by now, but if anyone else also lost all the refs when the switch happend, you might want to check again. | ||

Of course there are exceptions to this rule but I would think people who have a basic threshold of an idea on how jungling works will understand my implied logic that, very generally, ganking for top when behind makes you the most vulnerable to counterganks and further snowballing for the enemy side, top takes the longest to kill, strong tops can 1v2 easily when ahead unlike fed mids who can always get bursted down. Top is an island that the longer the jungler spends there the less control of game he has. I obviously could've been wrong in those situations and helping top would've been the correct plays, but how am I supposed to communicate when my laner has 0 idea about what a jungler thought process is? So then if people who are supposed to be good at this game don't know or understand the reasoning I just gave, how are they supposed to understand the logic of a pro-level jungler in a tourney game? Wouldn't it be basically like a blind person trying to watch a movie? Granted at higher elos laners will empathize with junglers more and see why you couldnt've have helped them at a certain time, but in my experience that becomes the standard only in like 2.3k+ games where people don't yell knee-jerk reaction insults at junglers. For jungling at the very least, if you don't understand what's going on, which I'm gonna be safe and say no one at 1200 does, you have no right to critique what's happening in a tourney level game, this is so painfully obvious to me. You'll have no idea why ganks turned out good/bad, whos fault it was, basically anything that's going on. Is this really not that obvious? | ||

As stated before, hivemind seriously prevails. I think 9 out of 10 times, as a subforum, we're on the same page when it comes to good ideas from the bad. Really donk users, like Dota2 fans that come to visit just to trash LoL, those get reported and I only moderate about half of those. Majority of the time, one of the super active mods (GMarshal) gets to ban hammer before I can. TL;DR: Season 3, I want more users to come to TL LoL. | ||

About this idk, what would you propose to fix this weakness of this subforum? The easiest would obviously be if everyone added themselves on TL Summoner Thread list so that you can find out who they are on LoLking asap (c'mon guys do eet) (Like, even Teutonica/Slayer91 doesn't have a post there... wtf). But other than that I really don't know. Maybe we could write some guide on how to read this forum and how to understand advice and criticize it. But then I don't have any idea how to understand and criticize advice so someone else would have to write it LOL edit: ^^^^ Neo for what it's worth, I don't think just copying a cookie-cutter strategy and going deep with it is a bad way to learn. You get to play with people who understand a lot more than you and are also more consistent so you can observe more patterns more clearly. | ||

Bad posters happen, you would think that 7 years on TL would make you aware of that fact. I think for the most part, bly is a nice guy but I don't know what to do to help him in this situation. @Scip: not a bad way to learn, sure. But you'd need to reverse engineer it find out the reason for going W max first on Irelia, instead of E (really, really old example but it's one of the times that my own initial assumption of a champ was incorrect and I tested to find out why, etc). Most people go HoG, Wriggle's on Shy. Why? Cause saint said so? hmm ok. | ||
