I've had top laners think exactly the same way as you and flame the shit out of me when I DON'T gank their lane constantly when they are ahead to stop them getting ganked or to dive. I mean come on, seriously? Sure ganking when you can countergank or dive is great but do I really want to let the enemy bot lane continue to snowball while I gank someone already losing lane? (it also depends om champ, on udyr yeah sure dive top but on amumu use that ult for bot lane) Funny you mention the W on irelia but I remember scip used to play irelia and nobody else did on LP and he always maxed W first. Honestly it heals 26 per hit and does 75 true damage per hit (+75 on bladesurge) it should take 10 seconds of looking at LoL wiki page to figure out that it'll be the most effective to max. Wriggles HoG on shyv is interesting. I've done a lot of double dolans wits end warmogs stuff on shyv often because it's top lane but I'm starting to think after all for jungle wriggles hog might be the best. For long 30-40 minutes games hog is a pretty solid discount on your randuins and wriggles is extra ward when you're short on money and great for doing buffs and dragons fast to save time. Wits end is still great when you finish it but wriggles is really versatile in that it gives damage tankiness sustain and gp10. | ||

But CLG Allstars, are playing against Curse in that MLG Prizefight showmatch now. Have Froggen in the jungle. The rest looks like NA.
