I somewhat understood that Veigar was okay, but below average. His laning phase is supbar compared to a lot of other mids, and he can't exactly push incredibly well. His burst is great, but single target meaning that he loses some effectiveness later on. His stun is still great, which I believe mostly makes him a lot better than he would be otherwise. I have been trying to max W first and avoid trading at all costs. Dat waveclear with W OP. Wave-clearing with W should be a last resort against a pushing opponent, since your main laning goal is to farm your Q as much as possible. But Q's mana cost increases with rank. If I want to get DFG I can't get that much mana to constantly farm Q. This is just an experiment, ofc. But this is my rational behind maxing W first. EDIT: 3 games in a row with this weird build and won... then I checked lolking and realized two of three games I was laning against unranked scrubs players, lol. Playing against 1k Elo Ryze with this build was hilarious.... push lane all day, then farm one Q on a melee minion. GG normal draft. I will try it a couple more games but I feel it's only good if my lane opponent is terrible. Also if I miss my stun I either die or get zoned for the next 15 seconds too bad the players I was playing against were too terrible to know how to exploit that. All Veigar's mana costs increase with rank now, and Q is still cheaper than it used to be for ranks 3 and below. Really what you level should depend on the game situation. Against a really heavy pusher, it's fine to put a couple of ranks in W and use it just to make sure they don't knock over your tower in the first 6 minutes. Likewise, sometimes you'll want to put a few extra points into E if your opponent is very mobile or picks up merc treads.

finally. froggen stopped having gangnam style on endless repeat after 22 minutes.

Does Locodoco share Chauster's power in shutting DoubleLift up? That was one of their keys to victory!

Chau as jungler will be real terror, will be big improvement from HSGG, but tbh, all his time as support might of rusted his jungling skill. But, if anyone can adapt quickly, it's Chau.
HSGG gunna end up feeding the shit out of top lane. jiji still gunna play a passive and unresponsive midlane. I can't resist to repost this. Chauster so pro. + Show Spoiler + Hahaha Yeah I saw that earlier, fucking hilarious. Derp play of 2012!

On the CLG.NA changes.
Hotshot out of the jungle: Good move, needed to be done rather badly. Hotshot to top lane: He does make plays in soloQ on stream but I'm more inclined to think spurts of talent+luck rather than straight up talent. He doesn't seem to be on the same level as even Dyrus/Wickd, let alone the koreans, I don't see training really helping him with that especially considering season 1 of ogn. Chauster to jungle: Mediocre move, bot lane synergy takes a long time to get and Chaulift had it. Chauster's general game sense is reputed to be insane though so I see this as pretty positive in itself. It also allows CLG to run far more aggressive teamcomps since chauster knows and can play lee/noct/olaf and other aggressive junglers. Not sure that it'll happen due to the meta we've seen lately though. Locodoco to support: He's a really good AD, no idea about bot lane player in general.

Oh boy league drama! Haven't had one of those recently enough.

I remember this game. x_x We lost 5v4.
Also pretty terrible move by CLG...
Yessss, what CLG really needs is another Drama Queen. BRILLIANT.
On the bright side maybe Dig can bench Crumbz and have Voyboy as their top again. Hueheu.

man and I thought CLG.NA was bad before... hotshot really needs to retire, man x.x

Pretty bad move by CLG. I don't get how they think moving HSGG to top will change anything.
Locolift will be fucking interesting as fuck though. Or is it Doubledoco?

Intermediate bots now have a chance to use a random skin This is so smart I can't believe it hasn't been implemented before! They said something about concern over new players getting confused over some of the more esoteric skins e.g. piltover customs blitzcrank
On the other hand its quite good that new players will learn to get used other skins, since they might meet them online aswell.

Moving crumbz to the jungle, sending voy back to top and benching dominate would probably be the better option though. Crumbz was so godly in the jungle, I miss those days.

It's funny because everytime CLG switches roles around they lose their best player in the process lol. But their egos are so fucking huge that they honestly believe they're making the right choices.
I used to really like clgna but at this point, fuck them. Their childish excuses and their ego problems are so pathetic... They're not even a pro team anymore. I feel bad that CLGeu need to share a brand name with them because clgeu is literally the exact opposite of their na counterparts.
And I must admit it's hilarious to me that apparently locodoco is only remembered for his fapping....lol This is sad, i want to wish loco luck but at the same time clgna doesn't deserve any anymore. ;-;

Remember how there was a conversation about how you always post stuff that's just wrong? This is an example.
Veigar outtrades a lot of people - none of the bullshit op crap we see today, but a lot of the older APs, and, yes, Ryze at early levels. You're trying to avoid trading on a hero with a low CD low mana cost spell (Q mana costs got buffed a few patches ago) who can all-in from 1000 range when the opponent is below 75% hp.
Agree w/ Jumbled, maxing W is a necessity forced by difficult lanes, not something you're going for. W costs a bazillion more mana than Q anyways so your logic is flawed anyways.

Speaking of Hotshot, about a year b4 I started playing League (beginning of 2012), friend told me to go to Hotshot's stream and try to play him in GGPO SF 3rd Strike. Played him/destroyed him, but judging from the viewer count/me asking my friends who he was, they made him out to be an untouchable top player.
Fast forward a year later, where I start watching streams/playing League and he's now top/ Saint is gone from CLG, and I kept scratching my head at how the Hotshot jungling now could be anywhere near as good as he was made out to be.
Anyway this is just going to be a trainwreck (at least Hotshot top will be).

Can someone explain to me why Locodoco of all people would be chosen as their support? Please give me a good reason.

Hotshot loves asians (even has an asian gf) and wanted to be surrounded by 4 asian men (thus benching voy). He saw locodoco's "assets" on stream first hand and so decided he'd be the perfect choice as the 4th?

Why don't they have chauster play mid and kick jiji if they are gonna kick anyone? And then maybe voyboy can jungle or something. I feel like benching voyboy is a terrible idea

Please give me a good reason. they say the best support players are the players who have played ad carries before, because they understand what the carries need better than anyone. Bot lane is said to be won by the better support player, more so than the better AD player, so the idea is good AD player playing support would mean good support, and winning bot lane.

Saintvicious: this seems familiar Hotshot sucking top decides to try support benches elementz.... realizes he sucks at it then goes back to top. Hotshot sucks at top benches me from jungle to try it out.... realizes he sucks at jungle goes back to top and benches Voyboy. I wonder where the problem is.
This pretty much sums up my feelings.
