Her AP ratio as well are pretty ridiculous and without AP Orianna is more or less a wasted pick.

I always heard the definition that hard CC = things that break channels but that counts silences in and roots out, although I think generally people prefer roots to silences if given the choice

(stun, fear, knockups and -backs). Snares are borderline, some people say it's hard since it prevents one from chasing/running away. Quite some time ago when the support Orianna question emerged, the worst answer was: play Janna instead. Her mana is way easier to manage. Lulu also works imo.

Hard CC: Prevents a character from moving (Root, Stun, Knockup) Soft CC: Slows a character down Disables: Prevents a character from performing actions but doesn't neccessarily slow him or prevent him from moving (Silence, Knockback)

I just learnt the hard way that DFG's projectile speed and Eve's ult are too fast for the delay in Sivir's spellshield to kick in, unless you cast preemptively when she runs at you but isn't in range yet. Urgh. And that game had also Sona and WW in it, so even QSS on top of that wasn't enough. I should prob have just bought banshee in retrospect, the passive is only "bad" if the opposing team has poke (which they didn't).

I found her best with a lane bully like Draven. Her ball provides MR/AR even when the shield is down, as long as the ball is on the target, so he's bullying you leave it on him, when he's last hitting you keep in the bush for zoning/control.

BB really helps w/ mobility because draven has no escape (i dont really count the E) and lets him catch axes ez, and that atkspd means you do ridiculous damage. id go lulu or janna over orianna personally. she's not bad, but lulu/ janna has stronger poke and more utility. lulu passive is useful, but orianna passive needs money to be good.

The fact of the matter is Draven does really well against Graves/Corki and better than most vs Ez .
