Probably because no one from LoL even knows about this poll l0l. whenever i think of people caring about esports it's really just people who care about sc2. never seen anybody talk about any of the other games, whether it's fps or fighting games or whatever.

![]() Professionally though, BW is a million times better to me, and if I had to choose professional SC2 vs professional LoL, I'd go for LoL.

I watched the game, the ID is meromeron. It had more to do with dlift throwing hard by missing skill shots and making really really bad calls than any particularly stellar play on corkis part.

Enemy team had already picked Jax top, lee jungle, Cho mid, naut support, and Ez for AD. My team had taken Xin top, Dari jungle, Vik mid and taric support. All of that I knew before making my pick. Sadly I dont have Graves or Corki available for AD picks. I choose to take Vayne, with a pretty defensive setup, taking movespeed quints and doing 12/9/9 masteries (Trying to focus on some defense, and extra movement speed, getting dmg/arp in offensive) I took flash and cleanse, with the intention of going PD first for the movement speed. Clearly it all went badly, they got some kills in lane and our lane got ignored by both teams junglers. Ez ended up beating me handily in CS as I was under my tower most of the game and did a poor job. His lane phase ended with him 5 kills up, and having a significant CS lead. Anyway, my question is, what would of been a smart pick for AD and setup in that situation? (Or one similar, where by you can see the enemy team has a bunch of strong cc/divers/hard lane) In retrospect I feel Cait could have been a good pick, as the range and escape, with a strong lane phase might have made the laning go a lot better. Clearly theres a bunch I could have done to have done better in that lane phase, i.e. better cs, dont die etc, but I'm curious as to opinions on what I could have done for a pick, and general runes/masteries setup (As in, is it ever reasonable to go with movement quints over AD/ARP, or just stick to flat AD/armor/MR?)

They have Naut/Lee/Cho/Jax. Those people are capable of flashing/jumping on top of you, so you really, really need an AD with good escapes. Vayne was probably not the best choice for that scenario as a pink ward/oracle in the middle of teamfight will render you useless or unless you have extremely good positioning. There's a reason Corki/Graves is considered top tier, because they are the best picks for situations like these: They are able to lane against ez without getting destroyed, and have a good escapes to survive the enemy team diving them.

Vayne is one of the best ADs vs a bruiser comp because of her mobility, w passive and lifesteal. Vayne is not a good pick vs Ezreal but at low elo it doesn't matter, especially when they have a nautilus support and you have taric. You should pretty much never get mspd quints on any AD carries unless you don't play on ever trading in lane. There's also 0 point going 12/9/9, the most defensive you can go is like 18 or something. I have honestly never seen the enemy team buy oracles/pink just for a Vayne, and even then you wouldn't be useless in teamfights. Cait would've laned easier but more useless to carry with.

What I do if I need to lane AD is just dont feed the enemy ADC. I try to lane as save as possible if you have an enemy support like naut/blitz always remember to have a creep between you and him. In my opinion sivir would have been a good pick too because ofher spellshield. Try not to die and lane save as possible CS as good as you can (take golems if their is time) try to freeze lane.
