Forgive me if it's a stupid question, just trying to think about the game more.

Also Scarra says Sej' ult is one of the longest (it is, with Galio, Amumu and now Karthus), goes on to build sunfire and another belt but no cdr. ![]() Also I'm getting an error message when I want to spectate the game spectated by a friend, "active game can't be found". Is it because, for example, he stays on the endscreen, thus still being "spectating" in the friendlist, while the game itself has ended?

I think the essence of it is that it's a lot easier to deny top gold / xp than it is most AP mids -- but does that really outweigh the drawbacks of having your AD / support all the way out at top lane? I would think having them mid would bring more nifty benefits. (for instance, retaining the dragon control of having them bot, the map control of dropping mid tower quickly, easy ward placement at commonly used jungler routes, etc.) Forgive me if it's a stupid question, just trying to think about the game more. I've seen pro teams shift from 2v1 top to 2v1 mid after top tower goes down, but in earlier S2 games there were also a few 2v1 mids. I think the rationale for it top is that with the longer lane and against a melee character it's generally easier to push the tower, dive him under tower (or behind it), or just deny him farm.

With s3 coming up you'll see mid-tier NA teams who make into s3 get picked up by more known teams and/or pick up more sponsors.

The marginal security from a second smite on your team seems like a laughable reason to take it. I think that the extra smite in bot lane can be very valuable in securing dragon though. Seeing how passive most games are these days, that dragon gold can be pretty important. (plus, an extra 10 gp (plus minion) every minute is kind of significant to a support). But srsly, the only support I'd ever take smite on is Blitz. It synergizes with him so well.

Like every time I play a coop vs AI vs intermediates on my smurf and lose as the only one on my team who's positive, the next game 2 of my allies do better than me. And yes shameful to lose to bots boo. Just random luck afaik. When I was leveling a smurf through ai games of get paired with level 30s one game and then level 10s the next.while other days I'd get straight low levels or straight 25+

How often does dragon actually come down to a mid fight smite-off...like never, especially as people get better and learn to recognize when they can take and contest dragon, and when they need to gtfo.
