Is it just me or does jungle lee sin require you to get kills early just to stay even mid/late game?

Everyone support 5hit, even Dyrus is fighting for him!

"THIs IS THE MOST F>>>ING RETARDED THING IVE SEEN RIOT DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND IVE SEEN PLAYOFFS ON SATURDAY" made me lol.

Even if his intention was to make people read "shit"combo, I still think the word shit is okay in a teen rated game. It's not pokemon please, people die in the field of justice everyday.

That's pretty much every jungler out there, jungle farm is pretty lackluster.

From what i understand, Lee Sin is a gank dependant jungler. If you don't get kills, it doesn't matter how farmed you are, you still fall off too hard.

Lol. Annie Bot is the strongest bot. MF is so bad. Make it rain on minions every time.

I was sure about annie bot, too...
but then i played against malzahar bot a few times. That ult is soooooo annoying -.-

Though i still run away from Annie Bot every time she has the stun ready and wait for one of my teammates to get bursted down :p

Alright, I've found a good way to reward the soloQ supports. Always honor your support, they're playing arguably the least popular role and deserve it. As long as they make a good faith effort to help you lane, they're 100% worth honoring.

If they don't mess up (too much): Friendly
If they ward properly and play well: Teamplay

My rule of thumb, though recently i get a lot of really, really bad supports that get neither from me.

Man, I support all day and still no honor :/

I'm going to say again I enjoy playing support because I feel that after jungle its the most versatile role and can potentially have the most effect on the game depending on your decisionmaking. No one subscribes to my school of thought though.

Mid does have a pretty big effect on the game though. They have easier access to the other lanes than the other members of the team, and usually pack a good amount of cc to help the team out.

I think top has the least effect, although it is the most snowbally, and morale definitely drops off a lot if top feeds even if it doesn't make that big of a difference.

For example, in his Reddit AMA after the loss, Dyrus talked a bit about how he preformed in the games and it basically came down to him admitting he was not as strong of a top laner against Frost because he couldn't get away with a lot of the mistakes he usually makes. There is no one else in NA that he can play against that will punish his mistakes as well as the top teams around the world will, so he can't (or it would be very hard to) fix them. It is the same for the other lanes along with things like positioning in team fights, late game decision making, even champion selection strategies. When they are already better in those categories than anyone they practice against: 1. Mistakes will not be punished, and therefore go unnoticed. and 2. Any known mistakes will be nearly impossible to fix, because it is hard to tell the difference between stomping someone and stomping that same someone slightly harder. And that slight difference becomes much more pronounced against a top-tier team, resulting in the 0-2 TSM faced.

You could say that PDD or Caomei were in the exact same state a couple months ago--Chinese top lane play was absolutely abysmal. Caomei regularly fed first blood in lane while PDD was already quite good, there weren't exactly other Chinese server teams that had good top laners. Now look how far Chinese top lane play has come since then.

If you need to look overseas for practice, you take the ping disadvantage and do it.

If scrimming with high ping like that is still useful then yes, they should be doing it. I'm not sure if that is how the Chinese top laners got better or not because I haven't followed the Chinese scene, but if it worked for them then NA pros should be following the Chinese example.

My original point still stands that they don't have the kind of scrimming partners on the NA server to really get better. They would be slightly better off scrimming mid-tier NA teams rather than soloQ streaming all the time (which is what this topic started off as) but I don't think that would have been enough to flip the 0-2 TSM suffered.

Even if a support plays perfectly, and your adc does well, you can lose your lane if the other adc plays perfectly. Basically, outplaying the other team as a support doesn't mean winning engagements, but rather making sure your team only engages if it will be a winning engagement. Winning the game is all the honor i need

The warm fuzzy feeling I get from being honored is instantly killed when I remember that it's just another number that changes into other numbers, like elo and win rates.

Except that it is willfully given by another person rather than won. So actually it is nothing like elo or win rates. Wait, what was your point again?

That it's useless and does nothing but it makes people care for some sad reason. Much like Reddit's Karma system, gotta have them unknown people pretend to like you, it's very important.

Yeah how dare Riot try to make people care about others! God knows the community in this game is perfect and could never be improved!

I seriously can't believe anyone who'd be upset at a system trying to make people not act like jerks.

I'm not upset about it, in fact I think it's a good thing. I just think people who care so much about it are silly. Like people are panicking they're going to lose their honour if they get reported for no reason. That would be terrible, wouldn't it, losing all your hard earned honour.

You're playing a computer game. It all boils down to numbers. It's all arguably useless, unless you're earning your salary by playing; there's nothing wrong with caring about it.

How do you get the rubans ? You need something like 10 vote in each honored thing ?

I do agree that you shouldn't live or die by the honour system. It's just a number to remind you that "hey good on you for not being a dick" nothing more nothing less. Rather you like it or not things like achievement points or these honour points are not going away, gamers for whatever reason tend to like them. I am not a big fan of these "pointless points" but here Riot's done something smart and implemented a system to try and make the community better. I mean at least it's better then those stupid achievement points on battle.net or xbox live where people just try to use them to feel superior over one another.
