And it's not uncommon, it literally happens every single game.
I guess it's just the normal egoistic play.
Might fit into the QQ but it's actually more like a observation I made than a rant.
Most of the time, it's either force the jungler out, or get zoned out in lane. solo queue players rather push jungler out than get zoned for 3minutes. From an (allied) jungler's perspective, it's better if they don't tell. If the laner baits the enemy jungle out, it's 2v1 (or 3v2) but not a surprise, then I as the allied jungler get to come in, making it a 2v2 (or 3v3) with the element of surprise on our side. Proper way to deal with seeing a gank coming, imo. You assume that the jungler would respond to that.
I rather get their jungler out of there, than close my eyes and pray my jungler pays attention.
Common jungler responses to the opposing jungler camping in a warded brush: - Keep farming - Counterjungle a meaningless small camp - gank another lane
I would prefer to be nice and a teamplayer and all, but it almost never works. Overall, the advantage of getting him away is by and far higher than when you wait for a countergank that most of the time doesn't come. Their jungler still loses a lot of time, and your own losses are very minimal.
It is the optimal play in soloQ, imo. It's ofc different for a team setup.

Whenever I jungle and I'm sitting in brush waiting for the opportune time (usually for the laner(s) to actually start it -.-) and then the opposing laner hits me with a skillshot I usually think, "Thanks! I'll get out of here and stop wasting the next minute of my time thinking you don't know I'm here."

#LoLLogic Increasing numbers changes mechanics? His buffs didn't make him easier to play, it just made it easier to win. There's a difference. It wasn't hard to throw ghouls at shit, just not as strong. Im pretty sure going from "Oomed after 2 ghouls" to "Having basically no mana cost" is the definition of "being easier" lol. You still go oom really fast just mindlessly spamming ghouls though

On yorick it's really easy to run OOM. After a while you will have a big mana pool that lets you sustain yourself for a while but you'll never come even close to out-regening the amount you spend.

Point is, i can't imagine having less of a mana constrain while keeping everything else the same make a champion anything but easier to play lol.
Not to mention they buffed like every other stats aside from his mana too.

i dont get this hate on yorick i like him

? No one is hating on him lol. He's a cool dude.

it's not unreasonable to like the champ (i actually really like his concept, for example), but he's absolutely infuriating to play against.

weakass lvl1, still weak lvl 2, manageable lvl 3 in those times he's gankable as fuck and you can probably outtrade him i've seen people run hp/5 quints masteries and regrowth pendant start and it worked out decently i've also seen people take lifesteal quints, also worked decently or just ask your jungler to camp his ass (if he doesn't get that tear or at least that mana crystal, he really can't stay in lane for long against certain champions with sustain, you just delay that big mana item until you are tanky enough to deal with it)
sure he shits on a lot of champions but so do people like jayce or teemo i'd say the level of hate for him here is a mixture of ''cool'' people starting the hate bandwagon (choo choo) and people's unwillingness to try and counter him

Design is cool, I'm sure people find him fun to play (never played him myself), but laning against him ranges from annoying to impossible, with the exception of Nunu. Him and Rumble, imo, are interesting and fun characters that ruin the laning experience for the other laner by making it somewhere between a headache and a nightmare.

Okay, he's boring to lane against for you. Yet you never played him. How can you be complaining about him when you've never put any effort into learning how to win versus him? The best way to learn how to win a match up is play from the other guy's perspective and see what rapes you. If you manage to climb a lot of elo with him then congratulations, but there will come a point where people will start beating you no matter what. I can't take anyone complaining about his kit who never played him ever seriously If you actually tried really hard winning against him, the lane probably wouldn't be such a hassle. It's like playing vs darius, really obnoxious and hard until you learn how to do it

i made 2 posts why do you think the second one is also for you

nah, shaco and vlad are probably the two worst champion designs i think riot has even said that vlad is the one champ they wish they could remove from the game/never have added him 0% chance that those two would be released today. rumble and yorick follow closely behind though (and kennen a not-so-distant 5th)

It's like playing vs darius, really obnoxious and hard until you learn how to do it I don't have an issue with it. I win or go even in most of my lanes against Yorick, I rarely let him beat me (at my elo anyway). It's just not fun. You're not playing against an opponent who is using his skills correctly, aiming and controlling abilities, balancing health and mana, and positioning correctly. You're playing against a guy who hits Q, W, and E when they come up and then lets his champion-seeking monsters harass you, heal him, and do damage to minions while he sits and maybe goes in to last hit.
I understand him. I don't like playing against him. Real life example: I understand how to code in straight HTML, I know when it's useful in an application. But I don't like it, it irks me.

Every time GD complains about Yorick, take a shot.
Quick question, AP Rengar, what's a safe pick into him? I went with Irelia and ended up building triple nmm into mercs/wits/aegis. But the whole game i felt like he was just chunking the hell out of me and it wasn't even worth it at any point to try and trade. would hit a stun after his first w, w-auto him and he'd immediately do his second w and be full.
Ended up winning the game cause i just went damage control>farm, but the pressure was insane. What do you all do against him? (sorry if this has been discussed already, I missed maybe 400 posts of the last GD.)

Most annoying thing about yorick tbh is just the huge cluster fuck that is going on while all of his ghouls are up. You missclick a spell and accidentally hit a ghoul and it's just -_-'

(sorry if this has been discussed already, I missed maybe 400 posts of the last GD.) I would think that Irelia would be a good counter. Survive the WW burst, yeah he heals, but it’s only ever 15% of his total, and your true damage negates his armor/MR buff. It’s annoying because you have to burn through 115% health, but I think Irelia has better sustained damage and fighting prowess in that situation. But I’ve never really studied the matchup, so I could be very wrong.
