Who else would have a giant pig as their Q spell? i actually read it from the ult, backwards, (ie, i saw r icon then e icon then w icon then q), so it took me about a half a second longer to realize it.
the most trouble i had was actually remembering their names, lol. I'd see the character model in my head and was just unable to attach it to a name.

I was like "I have never seen these icons before". Then I thought about them and came to the conclusion that there actually is a champion named Sejuani in the game.

Game thingy is invalid.
Jarvan's name is Jarvan IV, not just Jarvan.

Also, even Mundo calls himself Mundo.

That leaves a vapor trail of super smelly pheromones.

new ban list : Alistar Rengar Teemo

Teemo is indeed annoying. Rengar hasn't annoyed me, yet.
About the LOL vs Dota2 tournament... Most major sports are run by 1 entity. NHL Hockey, that I enjoy (unfortunately, lockout), is ruled by a ruling body (Bettman is part of it). Same with NFL I believe, same with soccer leagues, etc.
I don't see how RIOT controlling all the main events is a bad thing. In fact, Riot isn't controlling everything. We still have Dreamhack, ESL, OGN and other big events (I don't know all their name). Sure, they have Riot approval, but we are still far from a fully centralized game.
Kespa's BW may be the closest we have in term of analogy to how real sport is managed : 1 organization (KESPA) and a fixed number of team - always the same team, but different players. (And even then, we had different big tournaments right? OSL... I never followed BW so I don't know)
So, if RIOT was ruling everything like in a major sport, they would have to hold their own tournaments (or force the tournament maker to adopt the same rules - which doesn't seem to be the case... some tournaments are single elim, some double elim, some are invite, others open...). Every big tournament organizer (OGN, MLG, Dreamhack) can be seen as a different arena (for example, in sport, each team has their own arena). We can't really have fixed teams, or else it would be too static. And LOL probably hasn't evolved enough for pure domination. I believe some new teams can make it. Then, it will probably have to be like Tennis : half open, half invite. The best teams (highest win, ELO, or whatever) get an invite. All the rest must make it through the open field.
Eh, after writing this, not sure why -.-

Where did this recent fad of AP teemo middle / Cho'Gath middle come from? I've been seeing both of those a lot lately. Some streamers been playing them or something?

Teemo's always been semi-popular pick top, the recent buffs to his E made AP teemo a much better pick over bruiser teemo, so we see more teemo's in mid because of this.
I dunno about cho'gath mid, been definitely seeing more chogath jungle though.

Cho mid is fun and decent. And something like 40% of the LoL community is consistently thinking of new ways to annoy people with Teemo.

Cho mid isn't anything new. The reason he's been played more is because the change to his Q was a pretty significant buff and it's a lot easier to catch people with it now.

First games are on the 4th, groups have been up for a while now. Frost got kinda screwed and has to play in the group stage while the other winners of each regions (m5, tsm, tpa, we) are seeded directly in the bracket.
schedule and stuff here http://tournaments.leagueoflegends.com/s2-world-championship

I am very skeptical for Vietnamese team SJ will be able to attend this. We may see in a few days that due to US visa reason, SJ can't come and will be replaced by SGS.
Lets hope for the best and how TPA got to bracket while Frost didn't.... Riot logic OP.
