I'm hoping that Riot doesn't make any major changes before worlds, mostly because it'd be pointless and also because it'll help to see what all ADs get run there. Ez was already popular but combine his popularity with him being played a ton in pro matches and obviously he's gonna see a ton of play. He's definitely really good on top of that. The most likely nerfs will be cooldown increases on his E and a decrease in the AS debuff on his W. I hope they stop there because I wouldn't be surprised if without nerfs Ez will lose a lot of his popularity in a month or two and I really don't want them to over nerf one of my favorite champions. | ||

I mean if you switch manamune with LW then that build is actually pretty decent. edit: I see absolutely no reason to nerf ezreal or any of the three most common carries atm. None of them is allways better than any of the other ad carries. Sivir, MF and Draven are superior early game champions, Ashe, Varus and Cait provide better utility paired with a strong poke based laneing phase and kog still dishes out the most damage in lategame. What ez, corki and graves provide is a strong midgame with their mobility and burst damage. Not all AD carries have to have the same amount of play for the game to be balanced. The AD carry world looks very healthy at the moment. | ||

I might just be biased but I don't think he's head and shoulders above the other ADs (although a CD increase to his E would be reasonable, or a decrease in CDs of the escape skills of other carries). But I'm pretty confident that Riot will slap some sort of nerf on him given his winrate/playrate/general bitching from the community. | ||

Sivir actually shits on ez during lanephase pretty badly from my experience. | ||

Not enough experience against Draven but in my experience I don't think MF is that great against Ez unless Ez plays dumb and tries to just straight fight her at like level 1-3 (after a few ranks in W you beat MF pretty hard in fights imo). Urgot used to win that lane too, I dunno if nerfed Urgot still does though. Then again, pre-nerf Urgot beat pretty much everyone and Ez usually fared better than others. | ||

I don't remember seeing an Urgot for ages. His sub-40% winrate in soloQ does not help either. | ||
