-> the 185gold mana reg thing and wards - depending on matchup - if there (A) is a good leona, alistar or blitz I go for boots or ruby crystal if there is a sustain support I go for the gold/10 item after that i get boots -> ruby crystal and ruby crystal( second ruby if (A) is on, if not then kindlegem and then ruby crystal) after that build aegis if your jungler does it not or zeke. upgrade to shurelias if you feel its needed | ||

Or people can continue to pretend banking 500 gold toward their next item that they're not going to spend for another 5-10 minutes is more effective than letting a support have that gold now for immediate wards. Then again, it took like 5 years for the whole "support farm" thing to get off the ground in DotA, so I guess I shouldn't hold my breath for it. | ||

On my other successful support leona I just initate on sonas who rush philo and it is a garantueed lane victory move if my ad carry follows it up with some damage and with ignite up sona is dead. I would love to rush HoG on her though but this item is so cost inefficient that it hurts my intelligence to get it anyways. As for 'rushing' shureilas: At the time you get that item the ganking phase started allready. There is no regular laneing anymore and you definitely make use of that precious aoe ghost. | ||

That said I'am opening the manaregen thing + tons of wards + manapot/healpot/both. As I said I make philo->shureilas after having enough HP and boots and manareg is extremely important on sona as well. | ||

His q's evolution will be INSANE on ganks the 12% missing will come up after 3.5 seconds to end out a huge damage gank. You can't flash away from him because hes got 2 gap closers and a 35% slow that may last 6 broken seconds while dealing out tons of damage while tons of damage are tons of damage tons of damage damage tons of. | ||

If what is happening as he described in his post, third gp/10 seems perfectly fine to me. If I find myself with stolen kills or a lot of assists, I always grab a pick and just sit on it all game. You lose philo stone eventually, so that way you should have the same gold intake as you would with just philo+hog until shurleya's, but for the entire game. | ||
