i think the idea that anyone is a overwhelming "favorite" (im guessing at least 50% chance of winning the finals in the fan in question's head) is bs. i dont think any team, asian, EU, NA, whatever has over 25% chance of winning the whole thing as of right now. of course some team could stomp lots of teams and look overwhelming, but small advantages often begin overwhelming stomps among these top level teams. the advantages that innovative play, different playstyles etc. can bring for an unprepared team makes it difficult for any given team to effectively claim to beat every other team.

i honestly think clg are being highly underrated, as they have effectively played every other team in this tournament at one point or another. their experience if nothing else has me thinking they will surprise haters in this tournament, whether that is a surprise victory over frost but ending up 1-2 in their group or winning the whole thing we will see.

It costs 475 gold and doesn't really build into anything. Supports always have something better to spend that early gold on. More efficient for the AD to just manage their mana and buy pots if they can't do that. If the AD really needs mana, they can always pick up some mp5 glyphs or go 9 in utility.

Might aswell spend that gold on items that are actually useful. A carry's mana problems can be solved by not spamming skills mindlessly, and a support would basically ALWAYS rather get a Ruby Crystal for that 475 gold. Unless you are planning to play an organized poke comp and will thus build Manip into Soul Shroud, it's not worth it.

i buy mana manipulator for sona, it's pretty helpful. Everyone gets a faerie charm at the start so it's not that expensive.

Getting Mana Manipulator means your carry will get an extra 43 mana per minute. So a Caitlyn, say, will get one more Q roughly every two minutes....

3 more ezreal Qs, 2 more sona Qs, pretty good imo, or you can like not do math and try it out and realize it's good without taking sheep advice from others who don't know what they're talking about. If you try something and think it's good chances are it's probably not bad.

this is also not true, if you're winning lane as Sona, you wanna be able to spam spells and zone more which as a result will never lead to an all-in trade thus sustain > hp in this case, and for all case with poke supports.

Why not get early Kindlegem > early Shurelias if you just want sustain? And laning phase will eventually end, at which point I'm pretty sure you'd be happy about some HP and the Shurelias active.

you need gp10 for gold income, cant ever get kindlem to early shurelia unless youre skarner. You get items to snowball your advantage, not to prep for what's happening 20min from now.

I tend to build HoG+Philo or Philo+Kage's if I can get away with it into Stark's + Chalice now. Always spam power chords, never oom. I think Gosu Pepper started Chalice+Stark's Sona, and it's incredibly strong. Synergy with your carry is huge, and in soloq I think Stark's is stronger for your carry than Shurelia.

Assuming he's ganking with his passive up and he's level 18 it'd do: 220 + .5 AP ratio + 280 + 2.4 bonus AD + 12% missing health to an isolated enemy.
