MR is better for most others.
Also, that should be a no-brainer, but AP/lvl is better against an AD based mid. Talon, Sivir, ...

Champs are so weak compared to what they used to be. Pulling this from pages back but I think your nostalgia is incorrect here. There have been some boring farmfests lately but you can argue (except in CLG.eu's deliberate turtle comp case) that it mostly comes from bad play from the lower ranked teams. TSM playing "standard" nowadays is a million times more aggressive than what we saw in WCG (I think it was) at the beginning of season 1 where *every* game was a long boring farmfest until team fights started lategame. TF split pushing, Jiji's Anivia walls were the only real highlights and people joked endlessly about "Press R to win" AoE comps centered around Amumu and Galio.

I can only think of easier creep wave farming with AoE skills I run MR blues like 95% of the time. Just better for trading. AP/lvl gives you more stats at a high level, but lane is too important and there aren't that many lanes where you want AP/lvl over MR.

I think mine is around 40-50 but I dont have those programs from SC that can track it I think it should be a lot higher than that. I'm constantly moving around to correct my path/ make myself unpredictable for skillshots. I mash a lot of spells really hard too, though I guess it doesn't count when they're on CD. I'm guessing I'm at least around 150 per minute from all that moving. I play support mainly, so I'm not sure if people who play other roles would have higher or lower APM.

Eh, I don't think you need more actually. I'm a pretty slow guy, the max I could push my APM in SC was like ~80 (and even that was hard on me ;_;) The only role where I even remotely come close to that is when I'm AD carry, since you need to reposition like every half second. On the other hand, jungler needs barely 20 APM (rightclick camp, sometimes use skills) The rest can be in the middle. I think ~50 APM is very much sufficient for LoL. Anything above that will mostly be spam-clicks for moving/lasthitting. But I'm just guesstimating, since no APM count. €: On September 20 2012 01:16 Mogwai wrote: when I play support I think I hover around 5 APM Soraka only or what?

You can trust me. I loled. You have a point Yango. It's really hard to say how the game would have developed with fewer knee-jerk changes but, and I'm purely speculating, I think those quick patch cycles and champ releases were necessary to keep new players coming and engaged for LoL's growth. It certainly worked on me despite my skepticism.

In SC you're constantly doing various actions, and its important to start your APM high to actually keep up in the middle of the game when things get hectic. In LoL, your keyboard actions (abilities) are used far less frequently, and its all about perfect timing. Sure, some people get the mouse going pretty fast, I know I do, but honestly, it's not strictly necessary. If you played with a limited APM in LoL, you're not limited in the same way you are in SC, assuming you're playing smart. TL:DR Read 20-40 APM is alright for LoL, but gets you no where in SC!

I want more assassin jungles and tank mids. that doesn't make sense meta or not assassins need the most farm and tanks need the least what leblanc surely needs a lot of items to be effective, right so does akali sure talon and panth get 2x better with a brutalizer and then a bt but they have enough damage to kill squishies even with just a couple dorans exception is like kass and diana assassins only really need levels to kill squishies sure, to kill tanks and bruisers, they needs lots of gold but thats not their job anyway Don't really agree with this, in the sense of jungling assasins you rely completely on getting fed early. Sure, if you manage to get a couple of kills with your dorans playing talon or panth you can stay relevant through the game, but if that doesn't happen you´ll just be dead weight later on. Playing mao'kai or amumu you can go 0-4 and still have a presence in the mid-lategame. As soon as you get your aegis you´ll be able to start tanking shit, and your spells provide a ton of utility as well.

![]() Random math (sorry off topic): Got mouse in 7th grade Play 2 hours of BW per day for 3 years Average ~200 APM (very generous) 2*60*365*3*200= 26,280,000. Ouch.
