Energy champs are annoying in lane, but mana champs are infinetly more useful in a longer fight, just because energy runs out pretty fast.

Now, champs without mana OR energy to manage them, they are just bullshit.

What about champions with mana costs so low that they basically don't have mana except fringe cases where Darius is trying to pick up a pentakill with his ult?

Have to wonder how much more popular Gragas can get when Ahri is such a common pick. Would be nice if it provoked some more Swain picks and more Cassie. Feel like she has kind of died down in popularity.

Yeah this is definitely a strength of the newer champs. As Zilean, I found during the free week, that I'd use my bombs to kill the creep wave, use bombs to bomb a bot or enemy champ, and then not have any mana left to do anything. 130 mana + 130 mana + 50 mana too costly. Who cares if the lane is pushed? I can't roam if I have no mana to roam TT
I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

If we are still on the win %s,
Top 3:
1.Taric - 65.3% (81-43)
2.Kayle - 59.3% (35-24)
3.Gragas - 57.6% (72-53)
Survival is winning, everything else is bullshit.

I think Ahri is currently the best viable counterpick against Zyra right now... =\

1- Olaf, 19-17, 52.8%
2- Jax, 18-15, 54.5%
3- Mundo, 18-12, 60%
4- Alistar, 9-18, 33.3% (how to get incredibly frustrated playing support, with around ~75% bot lanes won)
5- Sona, 12-10, 54.5% (was like 12-6 before the nerfs T_T)

while we're on the topic of win rates, i decided to cut out the middleman and measure. Casually six inches. Your move, LP.

Ezreal. Whats the advantage - in solo queue - of building Boots2, Doran, Scepter, Triforce instead of Boots2, Doran, Doran, Scepter, Infinity Edge? I understeand the MS, Sheen proc, HP, Mana etc make him a superb duelist. However, I feel extremely weak in lane... I played two games of Ezreal today with the TF build, and three games with MF with the Doran Doran IE build. I felt so much stronger throwing some auto attacks. Both are supposed to be bullying their lanes like mad, but somehow I felt much stronger without TF.

Triforce lets you poke better, lets you chase better, lets you clean up better, even lets you escape slightly better.

Triforce first is better for sitting back and poking w/ Q, but that's about it. You normally see people go IE into Triforce instead. You get the best of both worlds and have aspd from your passive to make up for Triforce vs PD aspd. IE crits + Triforce proc bonus damage gets pretty high.

I really hate first item Triforce on any AD.

It's similar to the Trinity/IE thing on Corki. Trinity lets you have more up-front burst. The Phage procs let you chase people down. The extra mobility is also nice for kiting. However, for overall dps IE lets you just right-click people down. It really depends on what you want to be doing and what suits your team best.

Although I guess if you back with say 1450 gold, just under a BF and not quite enough for 2xDoran+Boots2, and want an item to just win lane harder going Phage is ok and will probably set the tone for your build.
It's like, "Is the Federation's Mobile Suit some kind of monster?"

Thanks =)

I was playing with my friend (Sona) and he kept whining that I just don't do any damage in the Ezreal games. He would poke them down to 50%, and when we tried to kill them after baiting them to our side of the river, I just wasn't able to do anything with my 110 damage (Phage). So we zoned them and I kept on farming =/ But when the enemy AD would be able to land hits on me, that would seriously hurt.

Trinity first on Corki is pretty damn good when other people on your team have damage, and they have no real super tanky people. It is just so nice for chasing, poking, kiting, and just living longer in fights.

TF first has been standard on Corki/Ez in IPL SF Showdown this weekend.

For what its worth.
