Tryndamere started doing well in ganks on the other lane, and jungling well. After a certain level, smite just doesn't do much for jungle sustain. There are other options than just taxing a lane. Not always possible. Skarner isn't going to be switching with the AD carry or mid to lane instead of them, but perhaps you could ask mid and bot to switch. Perhaps try these out. Also I learned what a big deal levels and items were. I lost trades to someone with almost no mana and while under my own tower. Also does anyone else do demand projections? | ||

stealing cs is a case by case basis. if possible i try to push down top turret asap (not always feasible) so that i can farm that lane when appropriate. if someone shows they are capable of doing shit by themselves i dont say gtfo when they steal my jungle camps, otherwise i say gtfo. gank taxes also apply on a case by case basis. if the enemy minion wave is bigger then ours then i will take a few, especially if smite is up. there are always the games where u start out by ganking top, and get a kill. then you go mid and force a flash. then bot lane starts crying for a gank so you go down there and do what you can. then top lane starts whining. at that point i just mute everyone. and in the games where i do more actively steal cs (push lanes when ppl go back etc) i dont feel bad about it, because jungling is a thankless job. i played sejuani over the weekend and was 11-1-18, the other team surrendered when i had 4500 hp and randuins and fh. my team said i sucked the whole game and wanted the other team to report me. the other team was like wtf lol? | ||

The problem is entirely that it's a complete reversal of solo queue culture. You're never going to convince anyone to do it until some big team wins three consecutive tournaments with that technique. | ||

you just don't know On topic, I really don't see a lot of Sej's anymore. You think you would, since she's a second string Naut, and Naut is banned in nearly every game you see anymore. I never picked her up, since a few people I was playing with at the time bought her and I never got a chance to try. I might now, but I think she needs some buffs before she's on the level. | ||

In other news, I feel like in honour of the Olympics we should have the TL LoL Olympics! Have qualifiers so we can see who the best representation of each country should be (or not, since most people from NA are US I imagine) and we can have a whole bunch of events: Highest cs in 10 min Nidalee race with 'hurdles' (set up a track on SR but you have to go through walls and shit, fastest time wins) Maybe full out tryhard SR games represented by country? I dunno just an idea I had. Would require a lot of organization.... | ||

Particularly with how much overlap there often is between the roles top and jungle play in a teamfight, the difference between farmed top + underfarmed jungle and underfarmed top + farmed jungle is not really all that big. A jungler camping a losing lane to create farming space, but who is losing farm himself is not necessarily creating a net gain for his team. Unless they actually successfully kill the opposing laner, it's almost definitely not. Obviously, top lane is very snowball-y by nature, but also keep in mind the global influence of the jungle role in general also means that a jungler with a farm/level advantage can affect the flow of the game just as much--particularly insofar as so many junglers gain a massive increase in ganking/teamfighting ability by hitting level 6 sooner. It is certainly NOT generalizable that: as a jungler your job is to babysit the fuck out of a losing lane doing whatever it takes to help him back into the game | ||
