On another note, there was another played that AFK'd while we were playing arranged normals. Not sure if he d/c'd, or AFK'd (he was feeding top pretty hard), but this shouldn't really be allowed as well. Also, try to limit the raging at teammates that aren't doing well. Phrasing is important, don't sound like a d-bag when trying to make suggestions. We're here to learn.

I'm in the practice group largely to help other people and get better at my weaker roles. Terrorizing everyone from the jungle wouldn't have been very productive on either count. Also I have stage fright. That said I've been streaming whenever I solo queue/play with TL B, so you can probably catch me playing Hecarim there.

We're here to learn. i guess i should change that build. i made that thread shortly after hec came out, and there are better builds. it was fun playing with the dudes i just played with. nasus. that is all.

I think what would be more useful is if people were to form little groups of 5 and just scrim each other repeatedly, get used to each other's play and form teams. The game becomes a lot more intense and enjoyable with regular teams playing against each other. Plus, pregame trash talk. Allllll the trash talk.

Sometimes you get matched up with people who far exceed your skill level. Generally when that happens you get crushed, but they can actually tell you what you are doing wrong. At an even skill level, it's often very difficult to see what mistakes the other guy is making, but when you are significantly better, there are mistakes that are blatantly obvious, that even though they only put you a bit behind, if you do it repeatedly, it adds up.

Dunno, I haven't run into much trash talk, and the games that people actually get onto voice chat have been really helpful - other people talking helps -me- be more map aware because I'll instinctually be helping call where enemies are on the map etc.

Biggest things to note from what I've seen. 1. Adjust your build depending on your lane, especially top lane against APs vs ADs. As udyr against kennen for example, a wriggles is a pretty dead end item. It gives nothing to help you against a the revolver and increased AP that a kennen will most likely build. Instead, look towards mercs and a wits end, A second example of this would be midlane vs veigar. Instead of building towards increased AP amounts, build towards survivability+damage. My personal favourite is going abyssal+haunting guise. If I can't have AP, have mpen. 2. Trading in bottom lane. There's a lot of variation in ADs and burst potential and sustained damage. Graves is an example of an AD that has both, his buckshot does a lot of frontloaded damage and quickdraw attackspeed allows him to trade with almost anyone on fairly even terms beyond that which is why he's such a strong laner. The other side of the scale features ADs like caitlyn who excel at single shot harass but cannot take anyone directly with either burst or sustained damage. It'll take time but knowing the potential of the other AD helps with decisions on how to and when to trade. 3. Avoid being under 70% health and oom in any lane. If the enemy laner sees this, they can continuously shove the lane and force you to miss cs to b or play extemely dangerously since they know you can't realistically combo them. Ask the jungler to help you push it out so you can b or just get the jungler to hold. Don't sit there and be zoned off of creeps for 3-4 minutes at a time and wind up missing more than the wave you'd miss otherwise.
