His user name would be something like BigP3nis69 and no one would believe patch notes coming from that guy.

Tamat is saying he's misrepresenting why he was fired, which points to my original thought that there IS more to the story than just a minor PBE leak. I do think it's entirely unrelated to these fake notes though.

So I've been trying to play as much as possible the last 2 weeks in my journey to grasp this game. Since you can't pick any hero you wan't like in DotA I find it a little tricky to get a grip on different heroes and counter picks etc. I haven't bought myself anything yet so I just rotate on the free heroes for now and try to play them as much as possible to get a good feel for animations, spells, build orders and try out items to get a grasp on how they work and all that. Is this a effective learning routine till level 30 or is there any better way you would recommend?
This wek Jax is F2P and I have grown a big liking to him, really fun to play. Is he relevant in competitive play and is there any team or play that is playing him frequently that I can study?

If all you're doing is breaking NDA that's a really good reason to fire you. Even if it's something relatively minor most companies don't fuck around with people who break NDA.
And if it's something more too bad for Riot, not like they can say if it's something worse than just "he broke NDA."

Nasus obviously had a secret sex relationship with Nikasaur, that is the true reason why he was fired. Tamat jelly.
joke btw.

From Tamat's tweet.
please call back one of the dozen Rioters reaching out to you.
Huh. Nasus having issues?
EDIT: His twitter:
@jzstyles I have a few options lined up, but for now, I'm taking a short break to catch up on some life things.

You guys sure love pointless drama.

Given how minor it was and how long Nasus had been there (and that there's a champ named after him...) it's tremendously unlikely that this was the sole reason. That much is backed up by all the things I brought up earlier.
Most likely what else happened will never be revealed unless Nasus goes really overboard and Riot has to publicly air dirty laundry for whatever reason.

Granted, these exist in DotA, but there's at least a few people that dislike bashes in DotA. And Riot is much stricter about their design philosophies than Icefrog is.

Guys. He violated an NDA. A *very* strict NDA. He got fired.
The only story here is 'Nasus fucks up, gets fired, makes a big fuss on twitter about it and is generally an unprofessional dude'. It's not unreasonable at all that he was let go, especially if his behavior recently is reflective of how he behaved at riot.
EDIT: ok I didn't see Tamat's tweet. Nasus is probably just a drama queen that's been causing trouble and between that and the NDA issue he was finally let go. His behavior has seriously been atrocious, even when sober.

Well, I can't give you the best advice because I'm not level 30 yet, but I can say that Jax is definitely viable in competitive play, as a jungler and as a top.
Also, don't buy anything on mondays, wait to see if he/she won't be on the free week :D

If it was something amazing, since it was leaked we would know about it by now. It was likely just him talking about ezreal stuff, like he said.
Really, riot NDA = strict NDA. Most are, I'd imagine, but I don't have much experience with 'em.

Scarras said on stream before that he's advised this exact oracles change to Riot.
It seems pretty obvious that he has fired for 2 things - one where he's 100% implicated and another where there is a degree of uncertainty. It's likely that his outburst is due to anger at the fact that he felt he wasn't given a large enough benefit of the doubt as to this second infraction.
I'd say that there is leaked information out there and theres a limited number of people that could have leaked it, so...

They're pretty strict. I'm under two of them atm (well maybe 1 I think the other expired).
They're generally to prevent either hurting the company competitively/financially (e.g. giving competitors knowledge) or to prevent sensitive information from being revealed (e.g. real addresses / phone numbers).
Since this was him talking about something that was already revealed, even though he wasn't supposed to talk about it, it is pretty minor. It didn't really give any information that wasn't already available. Given his length at the company, the leaked information being minor, and the contents of Tamat's tweet, it's probable that there is more we don't know about it that is really why he got fired.
In short, the PFE leak is only a PART of the issue, not the entirety of the issue.

1. give him back some of his AP ratios 2. change his stun back. it's not counter-intuitive, it was a cool mechanic trading damage for stun time 3. make his ult a small AOE heal-over-time and give it back the draining mana. additionally make it so any champs that are attacking taric or facing taric have reduced hit accuracy (like, 15% miss chance). this creates a nice juxtaposition between "FOCUS ME I'M HEALING THE WHOLE TEAM" and "LOL YOU CAN'T HIT ME" and would add some strategic depth to his positioning in teamfights (namely, near his carry) AND would also match the name of the ult, radiance, better.
i don't really think anything's wrong with taric i just kinda miss the old gay. i mean guy. i liked his old ult and his new ult is just lame and cookie cutter I still stand by the idea I came up with when the Taric revamp happened--add a facing-conditional blind to his ultimate. It's called "Radiance". The concept is "big shiny light in everyone's face". It makes TOTAL sense for it to be a facing-conditional blind. And it would add a lot of interesting and unique gameplay to an otherwise boring ability. I play taric a fair bit but I'm new I know his old ult was the heal thing (didn't know about the blind though) but what was the rest of his kit like? Did he have a non-shit passive?

his heal was the same i think shatter the same his stun was more damage the closer they were with a lower stun duration, and a longer stun with less damage the farther they were iirc.
also his ult gave bonus AD aswell as healing if i remember correctly

They only changed his ult and his ratios. His W was slightly changed to give himself more armour. The big thing was his Q used to have a 1.1 ratio and 1.54 on himself, making hybrid/AP Taric pretty hilarious. Dazzel used to also be a 1-2s stun with 400-100 base damage depending on how far from Taric his opponent was. The farther away the less damage but the longer the stun. Shatter and Dazzle used to have good AP ratios, so between the heals on his Q and R, and the nukes on his W and E, he actually scaled well into late game.

Shatter aura range was shorter, and using the active dropped the +armor effect.
