That should get you started, good luck. It is PARAMOUNT that you make this guide as lacking as possible. I'm talking little to no substance here. And God forbid a common matchup section with advice on how to play the lane. On June 07 2012 06:18 Seuss wrote: We need a Perplex poster tier list thread that we can argue over. Soniv obviously doesn't belong in Tier 1. I liked his stream. It helped me get better at mid :3

instead of it being #s is tier 1 and everyone else is tier 2, it's actually everyone is tier 1 and then there's tier 2_down

I know Shushei played him a lot but do any other pros play him often? He's melee champ that you run mid lane. As fun as I find him (he's probably my best overall champ), he still has a lot of weaknesses simply because of that. Most of his matchups are pretty straightforward and there's not much to say. Either you land barrels and bully your opponent or you don't.

I've just been notified that his victim on the champion art is, in fact, Kratos. Add to that Talon killing that dude of Assassin's Creed... Varus taking an arrow to the knee... thereisnourflevel... Riot do like referencing their fellow game editors/publishers, do they?

But seems like he isnt picked up much lately, probably because other mids like anivia, morgana and Kogmaw seem to be more popular (anivia and morg brings more to a teamfight I would assume and Kogmaw just does an overall good job of jumping around being annoying and throwing balls of vomit at you). A poster tierlist would be hilarious, but would cause nothing good he he (I do agree that we can put Jazriel in an unoffical tier list though )

Also Lux, while she is a suboptimal caster and doesn't really hard counter any mids. She still does very well and all of her abilities have lots of utility. Double bind, and in a teamfight an E + Ult does so much damage. If she gets any kills at all and rushes a Dcap after 2 dorans she can easily kill a squish from close to full health if your good enough to triple proc her passive in 1 snare. Which apparently no Lux I play with ever knows how to do it. Or can't execute it properly. Either way I agree she isn't the greatest pick. But she is fun to play and a definite pubstomper. To whoever said they automatically get a noob alert when they see her picked in ranked. Unless your like 2k+ ELO. I doubt it matters much who the person picked. In fact at low ELO's Lux might be a better champion then some other highly seen mids simply because you can get so many free ult kills on scrubs.

Random Gragas tidbit: Gosu Pepper plays a beastly Gragas, as seen in some random weekly tournament last week, where Darien was absent, so Alex went top, Gosu mid and they subbed the supp. He raped face, fatman style. But there's definetly not much to talk about, he's not FotM, and also pretty straightforward.

If not, then my stream will be back online once the school year starts up again (september). But it's good to know at least someone got something out of it. I know Shushei played him a lot but do any other pros play him often? If I could figure out how to play him reliably, I would play him more. He's hella fun, and very strong. My issue is I can rarely get out of lane phase safely with him. If I can do that, I'm all set (save for bad ults). That said, I think Heimer might be my new project.

I am wondering if anyone has a good logical reason for that. Is it simply to make sure she can constant volley and have enough for an ult when needed for the nocturne gank? Also Lux, while she is a suboptimal caster and doesn't really hard counter any mids. She still does very well and all of her abilities have lots of utility. Well at my trash ELO some champions are just known for their terrible players. I have never seen a good Yi, Trynd or Garen, so those champions scream noob alert. It´s just the fact that most of the Lux I play with get first blood from my lvl 2 ganks and then proceed to waste their gold in a meijas>into miss every skillshot build. I have no doubt she has potential at low ELO. It´s happened to me so many times when I used to play Lux that the AD carry will step infront of his team and get oneshot by my combo. I just don´t like playing her anymore, I prefer Orianna over Lux anyways since she has a similar kit along with more utility and a stronger endgame.

I know Shushei played him a lot but do any other pros play him often? There are people that like him and people that don't. Regi used to play him. The mid from Na'Vi plays him quite a bit I think. AL played him recently vs CLG.eu. I think he is underappreciated. He basically has a low cooldown damage dealing Janna ult which is a great way to deal with AoE comps. Honestly I am in no position to say anything about his strength though. He seems strong enough when Na'Vi plays him. He just seems somewhat impractical outside of his ult since he is a burst caster with no targeted spells, which is a pretty counterproductive idea. That going along with the fact that he is melee just doesn't make him very appealing to most people and relatively easily counterable by many mages. That and people would just rather play attractive foxy women, vampires with bad puns or vomiting slugs than fat alcoholic men
