Darius outdamaged kayle a lottt though. :s And it's hard for her to run cause the moment she activates e and q's, he can pull her in and then starts beating you up. I think it seems to be a big skill matchup rather than a counter. | ||

I dunno, its not even in lane that I think Darius is OP. I think his ult is OP in the fact that it is a huge true damage nuke clearly meant to execute things that actually refreshes on execute. More than that it basically guarantees that Darius will be farmed and a threat, even if he loses his lane hard. Because his ult allows him to get back in the game even if he has negatively snowballed ridiculously hard out of the game he is pretty much always a threat and a priority target, which as far as I am concerned is just kind of broken. | ||

It's always been price in ascending order, but i remember dorans items used to always be first, but now it's in gold order for that too now. Or am i just going mad lol | ||

Was dc'd for the first 3 mins, and was like 2-3ish lvls behind, but still managed to come back and fight him 1v1 and kill him. Had a good shyv gank, so hard to tell for sure, and I got the feeling the darius wasn't terribly good either. | ||

I find more often than not, I end up with a bunch of pieces of items rather than full items tho. So, from that example, then yes, I would probably go phage + hex rather than straight mallet/triforce or maw. That said, there are enough exceptions that i wouldn't call it a rule. | ||

I really feel that the phage is unnecessary since Darius has a hook for ganking that can be followed up on by a slow + ulti. It feels to me like you'd much rather get damage and large amounts of frontloaded burst over the ability to stayed glued to someone + Show Spoiler + wingsofdeathx was discussing brutalizer on stream earlier. the arpen scales with E but it's rare to max that early which is when the arpen makes the largest impact. The other thing is that hemorrhage is magic, ulti is true damage so you don't get as much use out of it as riven for example. Edit:: read a bit more, read post ~3 down. | ||

He has a really small mana pool which really limits how he uses his moves. I wouldn't necessarily call him OP on his ult since i found myself low on mana many times and that prevented me from outright acing everyone. I could buy some mana item but I feel it reduces your dps significantly in a teamfight. Also, his ult's animation doesnt make him untargetable (like fiora's ult) so this means you can die/cc right before your ult finishes someone :/. The only problem I see is that his ult needs tweaked since it seems it has way too much reward (cd refresh huge nukes) without enough consequnces (irelia ult pre nerf). Alot of his moves have small ranges so he does get bullied kinda hard vs. range. In a way he is like renekton but much weaker (darius) vs range. However I feel that because of his high potential damage output, if he can catch up to the target, they, riot, should weaken his base a little bit (he has a built in armr pen) because I can't but help feel that he is like nocturne on release date (build tank items/no dps but still do considerable damage) or Dr. Mundo. He remains to be a priority in fights in all stages (true damage is always good) despite his laning phase win or loss (which is usually him being dominant) making him a very powerful pick. off topic: This is what I think will work on him-- I will get if opponent team comp is balanced relatively: frozen mallet randuins Maw Mort ninja tabi or merc treads boot IE ??(situational/troll/ etc...) maybe ghostblade masteries: 9/21/0 runes: phy damage flat or armr pen reds, MS quints, flat yellow, MR per lvl blue I feel this gives him alot of durability. The reasons for this build is that I feel he is more of a threat if he is made to dps and not burst (much like vladimir playstyle). If he can outlive his opponent or survive long enough then he will win the fight (i.e his ult) by nuking them once they reach the appropriate hp. ***I have considered getting cdr for his w and AS but I feel that it doesn't work very well personally. what do you guys think? | ||

If you have arpen reds and build a brutalizer with 2 points in E by the time you get your bruta, you do absolutely retarded amounts of damage. I've done this the last 3 games and noticed a huge DPS increase after that there's a few ways you can go. BT is obviously a good choice so I usually always get that. Next, last whisper, fmallet, and GA are all viable options. LW if they're building armor, fmallet if you need sticking power (neccesary to stack passive), or GA if you're the only major threat on your stream. Another build i've been experimenting with is going brutalizer -> iedge -> ghostblade -> standard build The reason I think this is good is because his W can crit, and when it does, the damage is absolutely insane. iedge + ghostblade gives you 40% crit chance along with 250% crit damage. Not to mention the ghostblade active is wickedly effective at applying hemmorage stacks. There's still a lot of experimenting to do, but I may consider making a guide on here once I find the most optimal builds for him. | ||

I think he COULD'VE won the lane pretty hard, but he made questionable decisions and I ended up killing him twice early, surviving with a sliver of health. Once I had a lead, I could roam and gank into a hard snowball. But yeah, I was left with the impression that a good Jax could've beat me up. | ||

If a target has 100 armour and you have 15 arpen + brutalizer + masteries if you went 21 offense: flats applied first: target has 64 armour. -10% from your E, 57.6 armour. Every point in E gave you 3.2 arpen. Yes brutalizer is an amazing item for a lane bully like darius, no it is not worth levelling E beyond one point just for the arpen. | ||

I see Ren as effective as always. Only thing i was ever worried about was a gank from jungler because i was winning the lane pretty hard. so i had to do less healing on minions and a lot more safe positioning.  | ||
