I am typically not overly critical of shoutcasters to begin with, but I think he has a good mix of excitement and play by play while setting up his more knowledgable co caster do the analysis.

I have the silencing thing which is pretty bad to land and guides say max last....I have the pool which nobody is going to stand in so its basically useless in lane, and my DOT, which is cool but really tiny range. I played like 3 games and the only thing I could figure was that he is just a walking 100-0 ultimate. The only thing I can do in lane is farm minions and hope they stand too close to them, no decent player gets close enough to put the DOT on them without doing horrible things to me and still probably staying out of range. The only thing I feel like I can do is flash in and full combo people....is that really what this champ is? E>Q>W Q tons a ton of damage at a huge range and is excellent for poking and pushing. It also gets added silence duration. Landing it is not hard, it just takes practice. You have to get used to working the angle, but it's pretty easy to land in any kind of team fight. In lane you can push really hard against poor farmers and/or try to zone them into awkward locations via bouncing along their caster line, which can open them up for ganks. Your E does about as much damage as your ult early on. The hard part about his team fighting is being in a position that lets you ult something without immediately being broken and/or getting you killed.

Blinds only block the physical portion of any autoattack, including autoattacks enhanced by spells. So wit's end, kayle's E, and nasus' Q will all deal magic damage to teemo, but the physical portion will not. I'm pretty certain this also applies to jax's counterstrike. I'm not very certain about true damage on hit like from irelia's W. It's just interesting you can give kayle a wit's end to give her an easier time against teemo. In addition, it's apparent that even though volibear's fling is considered an attack (with a modifier) it's effect will still occur even though it won't do any damage. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Types_of_Crowd_Control#Blind

The range of Q is actually significantly larger than the spell icon suggests, you can also use it defensively to prevent aggression on their part. I feel like Malzahar has one of the safest laning phases, plus his insane clearing speed allows him to gank side lanes all day.

the trick to laning as ap (or any other build) is having a firm grasp on your passive. before u go to lane for the first time, lvl q and cast it 3 times in your base so that on your next spellcast u get a voidling. i lvl w next and then max e from that point forward. u can start aggresively pushing your lane around lvl 3 and not many champs will be able to match u. as the dot bounces from target to target u just need it to bounce to the enemy champ once and have a frenzied voidling get off a few hits to take your opponent below 50% health. you should be able to easily zone from that point forward unless they b. i played ~30 games ad and have a solid understanding of voidling ai and aggro ranges. when an e bounces to the enemy champ and u have a frenzied voidling u need to stay within about half a screen distance from the champ so that your pet will stay attacking. if u pull back then your pet will follow, if u stay in range then your pet will stay glued to the champ as long as they have an e dot. team fights stay back and only go in to ult when your tanks are doing their thing. ap is a bit of a walking 100-0 ult but its still effective and i think its fun to play. ad requires some luck for voidling ai to make smart target choices. if the pets stay on champs u can get double or triple kills easily. some games tho the pets will be stupid and you will probably lose. ad malz is probably my personal favorite champ to play in lol, it just sorta sucks overall.

How spoiled are we by super long-range APs that a 650 range nuke now counts as "really tiny range"?

Re: above poster gp10 quints basically only used for support, but always used on support. Some people use gp10 yellows on support. I hate gp10 yellows because you sacrifice a lot of armor and make yourself really squishy in a lane where physical damage is guaranteed. Also they're way too expensive.

Other than cass I don't think anyone has a higher range point and click nuke. Lux's E is so hard to dodge it's almost point and click in lane. By the way why does cass have such a high range on her E? Ahh leblanc's sigil is 700 range too, but I'm actually fine with that.

Ryze used to be 675, and Kass and Malph used to be 700, but those are things of the past, done away with by QQ.

You're losing 13 armor on yellows but you get 8 back on Reds so it's basically a 5 loss, unless you were running armor for both before.
