Anyone have any advice how to carry noobs? Who should I play?
You're already not carrying the noobs. If you were, and you were truly below your "rightful" Elo, then you would be dominating your lane and then using that domination to dominate other lanes. You could switch to a more "pubstomping" champion, but the benefits would be short-lived.
It would stand to reason that if you're just winning or forcing ties in your lane then you're probably just at around the right Elo. After all, if you're competent, then really the enemy team has MORE chances to have retarded players than your team does (since it already has one competent player). They should have just as many (if not more) feeders than your teams do (over many games). If your noobs lose to their noobs, then your carrying isn't as good as their ringer's carrying.

Long story short, the answer always lies in working on the one thing you can control in the whole equation - getting better personally!

To be honest, I'm actually worried about the Swain buffs.
I don't want him to become FotM and get nerfed to the ground in typical Riot fashion, especially since 4800 IP is a couple months of playing at the rate I'm going.

Or they could give him back his old ultimate spell vamp right? h3h3h3h3h3h3h3h3hh3. Swain is what carried me to 2400 s1 (my first and only 6300 hero s1) I Actually made 10 referals to get him . Previously his ultimate was making him STRONK and now he is just a sad shadow of his former self. I had so much fun playing him ;/ Its just sad that he is so mediocore now. The only game I played this season as swain I started 8-1 and ended the game losing with a 12-5 stats or something. Before you could play as an actual bruiser and target the range carry in fights. Now u just stick around the edges of the fight or u instant die. Too bad really , at least ahri and fizz are still good so i can have some fun // end swain rant
edit: on a serious note if they returned the 100% heal / ignore mr portion of the ultimate and let it be the same way as it is vs creeps now it would be just fine.

I have been playing Panth top lane and have won my lane basically every time - whether in CS or kills. I am able to gank with him a few times and it goes ok. Problem is that most of the time no one has a clue how to team fight. Most of the time, someone does a bad initiation and I ult in and go for the carry, but it just doesn't work out. And by bad initiation I mean Noct ulting a full stack Cho, and then my team running away him and its too late to cancel my ult. Guess im just gonna have to get better and carry harder
|
Well maybe play a champ that has more lategame presence? Panth's power curve falls off a bit late game.

Which one are the most versatile runes? Currently i have the movement speed quints because they are fucking awesome.
But other then that I am clueless. I have a nearly full set for my Janna and other support heros because I like to play support. Therefore I cant decide do I buy a ad hero or more bruiser hero with ip.
It is kinda annoying if every carry fails and as a support you are useless when the carry fails

I have 2 rune pages, they work for most heroes I think
1. Health quints, armour pen red, armour yellow, MR/lvl blue (works great on brusiers and junglers, meh on AD but still ok)
2. AP quints, magic pen red, MP5 yellow, AP/lvl blue (good for most AP carries)
Runes are incredibly expensive, if I was to get a third rune page with a completely new set of runes it will cost like 15000 IP

I would say magic resist per level blues. Flat armor yellows.
For reds either flat AD or flat armor if you really want to be general. Flat AD helps even with AP carries since it helps you last hit and is obviously useful if your playing a bruiser top, jungler or AD carry, but is kind of useless for supports. Flat armor reds is useful in all roles, but not really gold efficient. You might just want to get the flat ad reds and then later get a second page for magic pen when you play AP mids and to kind of help when you play support.

2 pages:
armor pen red / armor yellow / flat MR blue / flat AD quints magic pen red / armor yellow / flat MR blue / flat AP quints
These pages let you run pretty much anything at a very affordable cost. Then eventually get a 3rd based on what you like to play (for jungle get AS reds / armor pen quints, for AP get AP/lv blues and maybe mp5/lv yellow, etc). I'd personally go for a standard set of jungle runes unless you never play WW/mundo/skarner/udyr/rammus/shyvana (i.e. most of the top jungles at the moment).
EDIT: Flat armor yellow are the most important runes in the game, and also the cheapest. They can be used in every lane, on every champion. Then get the pen reds, then flat MR blues (for the same reason as armor), and then the corresponding quints.
Until you get more specialized pages, you need rune pages that allow you to survive in any lane. For example if you play Cassio with scaling MR or AP/lvl blues, and you get matched against LB, you are just utterly screwed. Meanwhile if you use flat MR blues and play against Ryze, you can still outskill him in lane with 20 AP and 43 MR at level 1.
EDIT 2: And yeah some people like to run AD reds for their AD page. I would only use it for last hitting on AD and for champs like tiger Udyr and Yorick, since AD isn't as good as apen against champs. It's cheaper though, so take what you prefer.

i started off with these 2 pages too. they serve well for just about everything, and even if they aren't the best choices for things like ryze, supports, and junglers they're good enough and you won't be totally gimped.
depending on what you play movement speed quints can also be pretty generally useful.

Thanks guys
armor pen red / armor yellow / flat mr blue/ Quints i will stay with ms since quints are expensive The last question remains which heros do I buy. I am thinking about Mundo or maybe some AD

MS quints are great for your first runepage, just because they are useful whatever you are playing and whatever you are laning against. I'd definitely get them first if I could only afford one set of quints.

Why the flat mr instead of mr/level?
For top or jungle do you really need the mr early?

Wasn't that the math done? If so I think ad reds are better for your one rune page. Magic resist per level are supposed to be better.
Don't forget to get Tristina and Alistar for free. Tristana from liking Riot on facebook and Alistar for subscribing to Riot's youtube. Mundo is a good jungler, but I don't think anyone really plays him top. If you want a an easy and versatile champ I recommend Warwick who is a good jungler and a good top laner.

AD marks are half the price of APen marks and just as good if not better on most people you would run APen on

You don't, but as I said in my edit above, the goal is to survive *any* lane. Some champs are very tough without flat MR blues - LB, Cassio, Vlad come to mind. MR/lv may be more optimal in some cases but flat MR is never *bad*
Also - here are some pages to get afterwards for specialized lanes/champs
Jungle (these 2 + your first AD page covers basically every AD/AS based jungle in the game) 7-9 AS red, 1-3 armor pen red / armor yellow / MR blues / apen quint (e.g. WW) AS red / armor yellow / MR blue / MS quint (e.g. Udyr, and Irelia top)
Top lane (AD) apen red / armor yellow / scaling MR blue / armor quint (also Rammus) apen red / armor yellow / flat MR blue / flat MR quint
AP mpen red / mp5/lvl yellow / 2 mpen blue, 8 AP/lvl blue / flat AP quint (highest damage) mpen red / armor yellow / flat MR blue / MS quint (also for champs like Amumu)
AD flat AD red / armor yellow / MR blue / AD quint (also tiger Udyr)
Support armor yellow / MR blue / gp5 quint (reds can be flat armor, apen, mpen, whatever)

MR/level obviously doesn't help you early...so if you need to survive shit in lane, flat MR. If you're, say, Shyvana and you'll be in the jungle a good portion of the early game, MR/level.

The point still was the guy wants the most universal rune page possible. Flat MR is match up specific while all lanes will benefit from mr per level because they will need mr in team fights.

That makes no sense. He wants the most universal rune page possible, and flat MR lets you survive every lane and situation at the cost of some MR later in the game.

flat MR is by far better for a universal page.
