The fact that nobody's picked up on this yet and rode it to victory is one of LoL's greatest mysteries. it's partially because poppy historically had a hard time laning anywhere. prior to sustain champs being nerfed, poppy (along with like 80% of the champion pool) simply couldn't compete with pre-nerf udyr, ww and all those other sustain assholes. mid and bot isn't good for poppy either since ranged harass is pretty strong against her (no sustain and low-damage, low-cooldown sources of harass basically ignores her passive) and can wreck her. As a result, people never really played poppy...like ever. Nobody, be it mid or high elo, really mastered poppy; not to mention when people did play poppy it was usually with an inferior AP poppy build. Now, with Zekent, Spamhappy, and Dyrus learning and playing a crapton of Poppy games, along with nerfs to those old OP champs Poppy can actually lane somewhere and abuse her OP skillset. | ||

It doesn't even do anything vs trynd, her passive already affects the crits significantly enough, and yes Poppy is a counter to tryndamere If you're worried about Poppy pick a Wukong, Vladimir, OLAF(impossible lane), Irelia, even Malzahar, Warwick or something like that against her. I definitely think she's not going to be considered overpowered until...... People start playing her bottom lane with a support so that she actually CAN get absolute freefarm with the combination of her passive and armor stacking. | ||
