Yeah, I mean, it might be me, but the second I started doing the shurelyas rush stuff and full tank builds I lost interest in him, when I started getting some AD to scale with my Q for clearing and my damage on hits with W I started playing him again and doing well. You rely less on your ultimate but have a harder time getting it off. Makes you less of a malzahar when they buy QSS though. Also, regarding fiora, intrix was aruging that maxing W first should be done in basically every situation, while I'm really not sure at this point. Thoughts? | ||

The first point in W has really good value but the other 4 points are basically 5 AD each. Damage-wise and mobility wise it just doesn't make sense to level W over Q. Plus, if they don't autoattack you during the parry window it becomes useless. | ||

I've been almost exclusively jungling her for the past 2 days(laned once with a Soraka, was meh), and I max R>W>E>Q --WEWQWRWEWE etc. I clear decently(start 5 pots + cloth), and once I get red+level 4 I gank top or mid if they're pushed up enough. It's been fairly successful as I've only had one loss with her, and that was mainly due to the fact that our top lane fed the living shit out of theirs(which happened to be Warwick, and I still don't know how to deal with him as her). I don't really have any math or calculations as to why I max W. It just feels more bursty and makes it scarier for people to trade with you in 1v1's or ganks. Granted I've been exclusively playing normals with her until I feel 100% confident, so people aren't very good. I'll test ouf maxing E first today and see if it feels any better. | ||

I haven't got a chance to solo top, mid she's bad against pushers, and bot I laned with clickrush playing janna quite a few times and we wrecked shop except against an ezrael/alistar lane but we still did OK there. Jungle seems pretty decent, I like her ganks, most people don't for some reason. Clearing speed is OK, she has to steal some lane farms though. | ||

He definitely does not carry the items as well as Mao and the rest of the tank jungles. You throw away pretty good scaling for the ability to charge in and ult someone, but then again, you can do that with a wriggles->sheen as well. Mayhap I should give him a try going with a shyvana build. | ||

I'm kind of curious as to how it would go vs a Shyv or Rammus counter-jungle, because IMO she wouldn't be able to kill either one that early in the game with no farm. Usually my buddy solo's top or mid, so he'll let me know when he's recalling and I'll cover the lane and get free xp/gold until he gets back. | ||

At max rank W does 260dmg on a 6 second cd, Q does 280 on an 8sec cd but it scales with bonus ad, then again W gives passive ad. Harassing with Q with a sheen is fun though. | ||

I don't know why people are in love with sheen but really it's mostly good as a burst damage tool when skarner doesn't really need that. Q's scaling is irrelevant is this discussion on fiora, beucase you're getting it from the level 1 anyway. All you care about is the difference between level 1 and level 5. Well the reduced cooldown does effect the scaling, I guess. | ||

My reasoning being that skarner after the nerf needs SOME kind of mana item or you have issues giving away your second blue. However going the full GP5 tank build I dont really feel is optimal, and you can have philo + boots + recurve and maybe a couple null mants for any midgame fights (depending on how early/late they happen, you might even be done with wit's end and/or mercs) and I really feel like his power curve hits a nice spot once you pick up that first recurve. I haven't done GRB since the mana nerfs on Skarner, though. Maybe philo + GRB + tanky items -> shurelia will work? | ||

Btw I do have adblock but what does noscript help you with. I recall a while back people saying they used it to block scripts from running without their permission but I thought most browsers handled that malicious stuff ok. Doesn't it also stop a lot of things you want to see from loading? How would it help against the site in question. | ||

If you think about it, if they keep "faking" your W, they're not going to be auto-attacking while you are, so you should still come out on top. Best example I can think of is trying to fake spell interruptions in WoW -- if you kept casting then cancelling, the rogue or whatever could sit around and just not waste their interrupt while you effectively did no damage. Edit: @ post above mine, I believe it only works on big jungle creeps(lizard, blue golem, big double golem, brown wolf, blue wraith). I've never noticed it working on the little ones. | ||
