It was at the very least different. Perhaps it wasn't the most unique and game-changing, but it had some flavor and potential.
The new ult is distinctly "meh". You have to build 150 bonus AD and 225 AP (assuming the earlier numbers were correct) in order for it to be as good as something Galio can cast on anyone he wants, and Bulwark is on an 8-13 second cooldown. To an extent I'm comparing apples and oranges, but it seems so weird that Riot is focused on "burst survivability" while giving champions that need it ridiculously underpowered defensive steroids.
Let's put it this way. Xin Zhao's typical builds are extremely tanky and his "burst survivability" gives him 90 Armor/MR in the right circumstances. Despite this he still gets exploded late game.

Just watched the Lulu patch preview, they brough hex into LoL, we will have to wait and see how that turn out. Also I like the nerf to lifesteal bloodthrist but not sure about wriggle.

It's really getting up my butt thinking about this. I guess I'm pretty invested after having spent so much time playing him. Wasn't the whole point of the remake to get away from the double dip scaling because it meant they had to nerf him into garbage? Now here they are giving him a double dip ability for no apparent reason, and unless it's already really bad... guess what... they're going to have to nerf it into garbage. Whyyyyyyyyyy

Just played Fiona for the first time and I have to say her trading power in lane is pretty ludicrous.

The problem is Jax, for better or worse, USED to be a unique and beautiful snowflake.
Now every iteration they try to do of his ult/passive combo is going to be bland compared to who he used to be. They will never be able to capture that same feeling, no matter how hard they try.

Yup, Riot seems decided to murder every single hybrid champion and force them into some other role, often times making them suck in the process.

I like the current incarnation, it absolutely clicks for me and I don't feel like he got 'kayled'. I'm ok with old jax not coming back because old jax was bullshit. He was broken with everything, then he sucked for a long time, then he was reliant on gunblade being broken, then he sucked, then the last remake. As far as I can tell, impossible to balance.

Realistically they should just get rid of her w and make it a straight ms and as boost. And fix her E to ACTUALLY HAVE 100% FUCKING UPTIME.

The new item is sort of interesting...but I'm not sure I'd ever use it... maybe on olaf but even then
at 10% health you get 91 AD, its just wierd because the shield activates at 30%.. which actually slows down your DPS.
It just doesnt look that attractive, seems like I'd rather get a BT

I've been thinking of doing this for a while now but I don't have the IP to do it haha. So sad... after so long I actually hate LoL's f2p system and would prefer just buying the game outright for 60 dollars and having all the runes/champions.

i played the new jax like once or twice and just found him so dull. the 1 thing that drew me to playing jax before was that his experience was like no other, except maybe poppy. you derp around having a terrible time then suddenly, your tearing people up 1v5. maybe it was imbalanced but he felt unique.

Why would they do that, 60 bucks is only like 9 6300 champs.
On the new item, I think it could be quite good on riven against an AP heavy team. Extra AD gives you bigger shields as you get low hp, so if you get bursted down to where the passive shield activates and E you'd have an absolutely massive shield.
