Does Pantheon beat Nidalee? He can't level 1-bash her since she's ranged and he'd need the gap closer, but can his spears outsustain her (pretty costly if I remember well) heal to that point where he says "don't get near minions or I kill you"? As for my funniest champ... it's hard. There are champs I enjoy playing, champs that are simply fun, and then there are those who are both and the added distinction of "Do I play them a lot or not?". I need to play more Katarina/Blitz/Singed, def. And learn more about Nautilus (perhaps try to find a streamer playing him mid/top). Jax is fun whenever his Q is off cd. I guess my fun champs are those that allow me to do silly stuff with me avoiding to be too bad to use them. That'd be Maokai/Pantheon/Trundle out of my mains then.

The spellvamp nerf didn't change the fact she's still an assassin with ridicolous damage output and a shroud. She's still really strong.

The spellvamp nerfs stop her broken mechanic of going from 5% hp to 100% with a single combo. (still like 5 to 75% in a single combo lolol) She still has the same burst and a ridiculously strong sustain. Lee sin was a good jungler since he came out and was played even when she was top ban/pick. It's just one of those things that a champ becomes fotm, gets nerfed slightly, then drops off the face of the earth until someone gets the sheep to make her fotm again. The never ending LoL cycle. :D

You know you have a carry that is gonna get tons farm top, so why take another carry? Just makes you team squishier. Thing is, you run something like Blitzcrank/Sion or Fiddle/Leona bot lane you get that tankier team comp AND you can completely zone the enemies AD carry. Realistically I don't think they'd even be able to farm because these cahmps are so good at catching you out of position (say, trying to last hit) and killing stuff while also being reasonably effective lategame with minimal/split farm. Maybe I manage to convince my 5s team to try it out with me sometime... I think what you're effectively suggesting is to switch the ad carry from bot lane to top lane. Riven/Trynd can be run as ad carries, but there was already a discussion in this thread about melee ad carries in general in LoL. They do suffer quite a lot. Imo the biggest problem is that AP is too strong late game and everything that is build remotely like a glass cannon just gets blown up when it gets to close to the enemy team. Unless it goes in and out very quickly... Apart from that I think it is not a bad idea to try. Of course the enemy will most likely also swap. So you should make sure, that your ad can beat their ad top and that your bot combo can beat their "new" bot combo. Quite a lot of things to take into account. Probably the main reason people don't do it. A completely new space of combinations to figure out and you might end up counterpicking yourself unknowingly.

Irelia is the most obvious pick since she can easily sustain but can only go agressive any time post 7 and come out ahead presuming she has the mana to keep going. People like wukong xin and panth are exceptions to the weak until 6 versus ranged though.

EDIT: To add some more content. She looks to me more like an assassin then a sustained damage dealer. At least I don't see a way for her to fight and sustain herself at the front line in a full-blown teamfight. She will probably have some ridiculous 1v1 though.

Patch is delayed a day. Also- to get back to the protect the kog discussion: IMO the best way to run protect the kog is to just do it offensivly. Grab a strong top, strong carry type jungle, and basically any strong mid. Then just get those 3 people farmed in lane and force the enemy to deal with 4 threats instead of just one. Like if you have Shyv, GP, Cassio, and Kog: who is the enemy gonna kill? Any 1 person if ignored is going to ruin the enemy team.
