I am having quite a hard time in the middle and often get bullied out of the lane.

Most notable feature would be that it shows who you've been playing with though it doesn't really add anything else on top of the stuff found on your profile.

I find by starting boots, sidestepping his Q isn't hard. Depending on where he targets his Q you can all so walk "under" his Q aswell. I personally haven't tried walking under it because that opens a whole layer of mindgames I don't want to have to deal with. If you understand how is Q works, its much easier to dodge. Ill try to elaborate. If your well away from your minions, most will aim it so that only the very very edge of the shot will hit you, if you don't move, so that it will then bounce towards you should you move backwards, and its harder to run under. If your in the middle of creeps, its going to land straight on you. Be aware that it has a pretty long range, but if its thrown at max range, its easy to reliably "bounce" into someone. Personally I've found that the best way to dodge it (and the way most people have dodged my throws) is when you move to the side, treating it kind of like a direct line skillshot. As with a lot of other skillshot based champs, keep moving, in an unpredictable pattern as possible, stay out of your minion line where possible (If your standing in your creeps, its a free shot at you know that, even if they miss, they still get creep damage to push the lane, make them choose if possible) and learn the range of it. Be aware that at close range, it can be pretty easy to hit as you have less time to respond, and the circle is fairly large. The next part is knowing how to trade with Ziggs - preferably don't, because if you both end up relatively low, his Q is an amazing poke that's very easy to send over creeps. If you are trading with a Ziggs, if he commits his minefield, but doesn't hit you with it, your good to go. If he lands 2+ hits, your in some trouble. It depends on what champion your playing, as to how you need to trade. His passive is like an extra spell. If you see him use it on a creep, force a trade straight after. If hes sitting with it up, be careful. You also need to think about how your retreat from the fight will be - if you trade his Q/E/passive with some of your spells, and your the one to fall back, his Q will be back off cooldown, and his auto attack has a better range than most, and a very smooth animation. So, trade quickly and leave, or commit to a longer trade depending on your cooldowns. Basically, most champions don't want to trade with Ziggs, because his passive is fantastic. If you do for some reason need to fight him, try to avoid having the initial passive hit you, and then stay mobile to make his shots harder to hit. (The mind field is significantly harder to hit on a moving target due to the time it takes for the mines to set) Ziggs with blue is bad - if the enemy Ziggs is given a blue, you'll definitely need one, and depending on what champion your playing, it might not be enough. Call for help - he'll be likely pushing the lane to your tower. Using the blue to deny you farm by pushing and then using Q to zone you under the tower is the easiest way to use the blue deny you gold, so ask for some help from your jungler or top lane, and get a blue yourself so you can aoe waves as well. Call mia's with Ziggs - his ult has a huge range, and the damage is not to be underestimated. His first rank ult dmg isn't huge, but the second rank, especially has he starts to get some AP, hurts. Its not particularly easy to hit, but a good hit on a lane is devastating and it can be done from a massive range. If he leaves your lane, call it, ping, whatever to make sure that your team knows hes coming, potentially with an ult to toss from across the map. Let your team know as soon as he hits 6, so they know to be careful. Its not quite as devastating as a Karthus ult, but people are far less likely to be ready for it. Should a Ziggs leave your lane, and come back with a kill, or maybe even 2, and not have to have even gone very far down river, it can be pretty bad for you. His next buy will see him significantly ahead of you, for something that was (mostly) out of your control. Lastly is itemisation, Ziggs is a relatively high harass champ, so some sustain (cata or WotA) goes a long way. Building the appropriate items will help significantly. Remember that Ziggs is a pretty high damage caster, but also fairly squishy. Abuse that where you can, and get your team to do so too. He has some strong zoning potential in fights and powerful AoE damage, so shutting him down early in a team fight is worth the effort.

with a blue he has a 3 sec CD skillshot that goes over minions and has double the range of a cass/orianna and is quite fast. Its just annoying, i bet thats why people like to ban him for now.

EDIT: In the 800 Elo where I belong right now I've beaten every Ziggs I've faced so far, as long as you don't eat his Q's he's easy to deal with I believe.

I know her top lane is great but how's her jungling? For when I feel like doing something else from Udyr/Lee. EDIT: In the 800 Elo where I belong right now I've beaten every Ziggs I've faced so far, as long as you don't eat his Q's he's easy to deal with I believe. I love Riven, godlike solo top and. In the jungle she is quite hard to master because she must gank, because she is not that good to clean the jungle without any items.
