You seem to hate your teammates a lot. Calling them morons, and only trust yourself, not your teammates. That sounds really bitter to me. ^_^ We should all remember 5hit and his phrases of solo queue. CARRY HARDER!!! IT'S ALWAYS YOUR FAULT!!! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO WIN IF YOU CAN'T CARRY 4 BADDIES!!!
I think what really makes me indifferent is whenever I think of this when I play is, when in my head I just expect every lane to go 0-10 in my head. Then, when my team does good, it's a delicious surprise. If they don't, I'm already prepared to play every solo queue game carrying people. And then developing a love for creating perfect play that allows you to carry those 0-10 other lane games, and how you can always improve your play to carry every1 even better, and becoming even more solid better, and your overall skills better, and better, and better.

I look at my teammates like lost little kittens. Stupid kittens, but still cute in the way they run around doing whatever they want. Its your job to shepherd the kittens around. Most of the time its more effective to dangle balls of string around than it is to slap the kittens.
But the key is to remember that, in the end, they are only stupid little kittens, so you need to rely on yourself to win.

Leading a raid is like herding kittens. But by God, they're YOUR kittens.

---> Lost little kittens = idiots who deserve to be treated as such.
gtfo you fucking kitten hater. Everyone loves kittens. Just gtfo.
@Requi: That's why playing LoL like if it's EvE online or a WoW raid is bound to fail. The other four people in solo q think the same about you. 5 leaders? hfgl.

Well, MY pack of kittens has one that calls himself Soniv, has a flashlight strapped to his head, tinfoil wrapped around his body and runs around talking about lazering things.
Its cute, if not exactly effective.

We should have people put their top elos in the comments so people can know who to listen to and who to ignore without needed to have name drops.
|
maybe an elo ranking in the first post
everyone posts their top elo and then there's a spoilered section 'TL Power Rankings', descending order, no commentary neccesary, people can just go to and check out the elos. Then everybody will know to ignore me huehuehue
Would we have to PM to update the list though? We don't want people just being GUYS GUYS NEW TOP ELO IT'S 12 HIGHER THAN THE OLD ONE UPDATE PLZ
|
1600 <- like this? Maybe just have a rule that when giving out some sort of info, state your rating? Amumu top lane sounds legit auto attack them and spam E on whoever you're laning against (i don't play top lane much at all though so i'm not sure if this really is) but in my game i tried recently, i was carrying fairly hard lol
|
Or we could just put it in the signature.
But frankly it really doesnt matter. If anyone says stupid shit someone jumps in and rips them to shreds.

This idea has popped up about a thousand times over the life of this subforum. We've agreed many many times that it isn't going to happen. Pick your reason: a) We're elitist, but not THAT elitist. b) What level do we decide someone is ok to listen to? c) Many high elo players have their own opinions and do not agree on one thing anyway. d) If you hang around LP or the subforum you should already know who is knowledgeable/worth istening to and who isn't. e) Insert your own.

Posting top elo is stupid anyway, my top elo is always 200+ above of what I'm usually hovering around. =P

|
okay. just noticed mumu can tank minion agro 100% so i can draw aggro all day and not die o.o = even better for top lane lol

My god is Ziggs OP in ARAM/B.

SOUNDS REAL ARBITRARY AND DOUCHEY SHOULDNT DISCREDIT OPINION BASED ON ELO BUT REASONING IMO

Amumu gets really good ap ratio's, but the real question is do you level q or e first. And would ap amumu be too squishy for being as close as he needs to be to get off most of his shit.

I really learned this the hard way after being stuck in 1300-1400 for the entirety of s2 until recently, when I realized that I was just depending on my teammates to do well, and not carrying hard enough. Once I started carrying better/initiating teamfights at precisely the right moment/making tower-baron calls, I surged ahead and just broke 1600 for 1st time for solo q ^_^b. I think I've reached my skill ceiling though.

I keep my current Elo in my signature. I've been waiting for someone to call me out because it's one point off.
Elo is a terrible tool for measuring post value because Elo doesn't represent skill.

I'm maxing E first then W because E lets me trade in lane. that consists of just autoing first and then spamming E and Q'ing them once they start moving farther away. Only problem with this is that it pushes lane. and for ap i just get will abyssal ryali'swhich gives plenty of damage imo. then last slot for defensive item and i also get a philo -> shurelyas in lane sorry this is very quickly typed out. and i just remembered about the champion thread thing so i'm gonna post something else in the thread sorry
