People have been complaining about music on streams as long as I can remember from BW to SC2 to whatever, and it's always absolutely vapid and inane.

Yeah - a good fraction of the entertainment or educational (if you're that kind of stream-watcher) value is conversation/comments during the games. Fortunately SV/s music - my fave stream atm is ok to my taste and he doesn't just play pandora.

I don't know whether Chaox was just entirely right about that or whether TSM is just playing to it hard core. Well no, games can snowball but I don't think these games prove anything especially since the "real" pro games haven't been all snowball meta. Chaox was just overreacting. Also listening to your own music is not always a solution if you want to hear what they say. Although I don't really care about the music they play so it's not a problem. Numa numa all the way. Everything just died in 3 seconds couldn't really tell if the shield did anything :/. Would be nice to know if the item's worth getting for some support heros. In theory team-wide shield is pretty neat, even if the numbers are a little bit on the low side since that can always be changed. One thing that concerns me though is that it's pretty expensive for a Support to buy, especially since it's competing with Shurelya for that 2k gold slot. Shurelya is also a more obvious build path because most supports want to open Fairie+Wards+Pot, which transitions into Philo into Shurelya much more easily than trying to build a HoG+Emblem out of nowhere. Also, if you need health on a support, sometime you even elect for the Kindlegem over the HoG just because the HoG takes time to pay back while Kindlegem gives you valuable CDR.
When it comes to others buying them so you can stack them, it only really would make sense for only top lane (I can't see AP/AD carries buying this) or maybe junglers? But again, a lot of them might not want to itemise in this direction either depending on the matchup.

people complain about music, people complain about no music. hard to appease the masses as a streamer.

Well I for one am happy that I don't have to listen to k-pop all the time when I watch LoL streams.
.... sorry, is that TL heresy?

My teacher just walked by and asked if I was on teamliquid. Apparently he reads but doesnt post. If you teach MAR1 and see this you should post =p

Snowball meta was Chaox trying to explain away TSM getting outplayed without actually taking responsibility for playing and picking like crap.
Like the Kings of Europe tourney was anything BUT snowball.

Like the Kings of Europe tourney was anything BUT snowball. I don't understand why snowball is a meta. If you lose lanes, jungle camps, buffs and dragons you kinda deserved to lose. Snowball is snowball. It's like saying warding or dragon fighting is a meta.

Chaox just wanted some sort of excuse, so he picked "its impossible to come back now cuz people are so good, so all games are gonna be 30 minute snowballs from now on."

I think that chaox thought that one team or one player have to take every fight, which is completly wrong. M5 for exemple took an early blue, and with that new hedge, continue on their invade, while TSM felt they had to react, each time too late, not enough, and each time giving their ass. While CLG, as we saw in the King of Europe, waited for the right time to counter M5 invasion.
But the idea behind the snowball is not completly stupid in some situation. I feel like sometime, some hero just get out of control, even if the team is losing overall (like that shyvana in game 2 or M5 vs CLG).

Has anyone else started getting random FPS drops from this patch? I can easily go from constant 30-40 FPS to 10-15FPS, making it nearly unplayable.

Snowball is losing so bad everywhere that the game isn't even close. It happens in SC and all games really. Advantages pile upon advantages and let you do either advantageous plays. You just need to not get owned so bad that a good team doesn't let you recover.

1. Pantheon does not come to gank your lane. Pantheon comes to farm your lane, because champions are worth more gold than jungle mobs or minions.
2. If Pantheon shows up, he's not here to help you kill your opponent. He's here to show you how it's done, because you were taking too long. You should be taking notes.
3. Pantheon does not jungle because he's a good jungler. He jungles to teach the enemy a lesson about honor and how it feels to 1v2, because he's sick of being camped top.

LOL, that's probably why smash plays jungle.

Maybe they disagree with you. You see what happens on CLG vent when someone disagrees? Just accept it and make the next best possible play. Don't just assume that your opinion is god's own truth and if they don't seem to be coming follow through with it anyway. It's just stupidly stubborn.
I'm quoting this because this is probably the biggest leak people who played RTS games or something like poker before, without even realizing it. I'm pretty sure if you sum up most of Teuts statements when he's not spamming random crap together you get a pretty damn decent 1500 elo to 2000 elo guide out of it.
PS: I'm thinking about making a "How to improve at LoL and gain 300 elo in 30 days"-guide, but before I start working on that I'll go ahead and hit 1800+ myself with my own advice.
PPS: Am I the only one here who finds trying to gain elo, while entirely possible, absolutely tedious?
PPPS: brb proving the "while entirely possible" part to myself.
PPPPS: WE NEED A THREAD WITH FAMOUS QUOTES. The Pantheon thing from above is pure gold, so was the whole "You do not get into an argument with Smash about toplane" from Usanmimi a few days back.

this is one of my favorite posts in the history of TL.
EDIT: I'm on board for a famous quotes thread. One of my favorites was from the Loco interview when his team was talking about balance and his teammate said "Nerf Loco." I laughed for a good 2 minutes.
