It was more than just in the last fight; they were regularly out of position and forced into bad fights.
Nidalee was pretty useless past lane. They should've gone with a better support. Hotshot also does not have the right mentality to play a support.
Yeah, I don't think Hotshot was the problem. Even if he bought gp5 and got CV and had a Shurelya's, they had no way to hard engage on a team like that.
I don't get what they are going on about now about why they lost teamfights. How are you going to assassinate kog that has nunu, maokai and a gp ult protecting him when your only initiate is udyr who is a shitty initiator in the first place...+ it was more or less a 4v5 because hotshot was so useless in fights. You just have to have someone that can dive in and 2 shot a kog against a team comp like that if you want to win the teamfight.Saint is right, maoaki never really initiated because hes only job was to cc the dude that will try to kill kog. Bad endgame team comp for Clg.na imo.

Hotshot doesn't know when to be warding or ward clearing because he only plays support as a whim and wants to play it more like a partial carry than an actual support. Moreover, if they had picked a different support like alistar or sona they would've had much stronger initiates and counter-initiates.

tbh i prefer clg.na communication. much more amusing.
Well they do always have a huge sense of urgency no matter what's going on in game, so at least that part is entertaining. I regularly press mute when they start bickering over really stupid shit or when one side is just 110% wrong but won't concede the point.

You need to rush tears so you can charge it, and tears gives Ryze enough mana to work with anyways, although he really needs blue to charge it quickly. But I'd much rather conserve my mana and charge tears slowly than have a chalice and nothing to use my mana on.
eww, NEVER build Tears first on ryze, or that's my rule of thumb. I almost always rush anything that counter my lane but gives me good amount of mana. So if I'm laning against another AP. Insta rush Banshee veil, fuck I sometimes just go 2 mana crystal + negatron cloak asap, and procede to outlane whoever I'm laning against. or if I'm laning against an AD, insta rush glacial shroud, and procede to rofl stomp their face in. tbh, the damage on tears is really nice, but it doesn't really compare all that great to the survivability you get with everything else. Not to mention Tears doesn't really help your laning phase nearly as much as a faster catalyst.
Since no one else jumped on this:
a) this should be shifting towards the Ryze champ thread.
b) "Catalyst when behind, Tears when even or ahead" is a solid basis. Loci usually gets Tears either way, but he's Loci. There is no reason to get 2 manacrystals or rush a BV if you sacrifice one of your biggest damage items for it in the long run.

EDIT: Remember when r.evos girlfriend noticed dyrus staring at rachels boobs? Like, I thought she must have totally lost interest in the video and just watched for anyone looking at her boobs or something, because that's the only way I'd notice. Apparently women have built in RL map hacks though. OP nerf please.
Found the video:
What the hell happened that you dug that out? lol.
WHICH BITCH TOLD YOU TO STOP STARING AT HER BOOBS?

Yes, at least his go to carry. I think DL played well and if anything, was the least to blame throughout the match.
oh yeah I agree. tbh i think st.vicious is completely wrong. veigars stun couldn't initiate because it would catch gp and maokai, and both would just cleanse out of it, and nothing could be done
In terms of team-composition, CLG.NA basically affirmed what I said yesterday about them picking too many carries and not being able to get everyone fed.
Hell, Nidalee also wants a bunch of farm, so they really picked a 5-carry comp.
Watching CLGeu is always a pleasure. They don't pull "flashy" stuff like M5 (referring to M5 counterjungling and invades) but CLGeu is always on the same page and analyzing their decisions midgame.
Wish more teams have that level of professionalism.
So, honestly, would it be such a travesty if we gave a few champions (mostly xerath and talon, probably a few others im missing) like 5-10 extra damage on their max rank Q, just so that when they have standard mid game items its not a question as to weather clearing a wave with my spells will leave a bunch of minions with 1 hp about to get taken by my own minions, or if i can actually use my spells to effectively clear.
I mean, I wouldnt even mind if they had to take the damage from somewhere else. Theres just very little more frustrating in this game than suddenly being unable to clear my lane properly because a wave leveled up just before it got here.

This sooo much. It's just amazing to hear them staying always calm, analyzing and having such good teamplay.
Is that Mejai's/Archangel/Spirit Visage/double spellvamp Anivia build actually any good, or is Froggen just THAT good at Anivia that he gets away with it?

"Don't write in all chat, it might make them mad." (After Froggen wrote some "one does not simply walk..." line when he finally caught GP) Compare that to any of the US teams.

Dunno about the mejai/archangel but Ocelote was using the double spellvamp + spirit visage combo in his Cassiopea tutorial with Mr. Bitter, so I guess it's legit. Makes him pretty tanky while still having quite a lot of AP. Archangel is probably here since Anivia needs a lot more mana than Cassio (Ocelote was using deathcap instead). Mejai feels a bit trollish but since they were stomping aAa real hard it's ok
I've played 3 games now as Ziggs and is it just me or is he pretty obnoxiously good for a new champion?
Sejuani had some nice slows and junk but she did little damage. Ziggs has a nice amount of zone control and damage to punish basically anyone trying to kill him.
I tried to sift through some pages of posts but I couldn't find the "played 20 games with ziggs, he is good/bad" posts
