Lifesteal ghoul is on a much shorter CD than consume. I don't see it.

Does anyone enjoy watching gp play? I know he's really strong, but playing and watching him is like pulling teeth to me

Really? I think tears + negatron is enough for your lane and rushing BV is just overkill. Never tried BV rush in a serious game though, could be good. Stacking tears while farming is too sexy though, why you'd give up several minutes of stacking if you can get away with it is beyond me.

catalyst is nicer, in the sense that it gives you health, and makes your laning phase a lot easier, and doesn't require blue.

Agreed. I'd consider rushing BV an overkill in 9/10 scenarios (the 10th being a double AP comp with LB somewhere in it), but I also agree that Tear->Catalyst is inferior to Catalyst->Tear. You NEED that tear stacked for a strong mid/late game, but I don't think it's neccessarily smart to get it before your Catalyst. Anyway, there's a Ryze thread for that!
CLG NA looking surprisingly (?) strong this scrim. I would have swapped mid and top if I was CLGEU, but either way - interesting play from both teams.
